What might attract foreigners to Estonia?

What might attract foreigners to Estonia? Estonia is a small country in Nothern Europe, but it is visited by people all over the world. One of the things that definitely attracts people is the seasons. There are four seasons in Estonia- spring, summer, autumn, winter. I think they make Estonia very special. Another thing is the climate. It is not too cold in winter or too warm in summer. Winters are usually snowy and you can go skiing and ice skating. In the summer you can enjoy days at the beach. The capital city of Estonia is Tallinn, which has a very beautiful Old Town. Pärnu is the summer capital, which attracts people with its beautiful beach. There are a lot of isalands, lakes and rivers in Estonia. Saaremaa is the biggest island, and it is very beautiful. Saaremaa has a lot of places to visit like Angla's Windmill park, different churches, camping places

RainforestThe tropical rain forest is a forest of tall trees in a region of year-round warmth. Rain forests belong to the tropical wet climate group. The temperature in a rain forest rarely gets higher than 34 °C or drops below 20 °C. Rainfall is often more than 100 inches a year. There is usually a brief season of less rain. In monsoonal areas, there is a real dry season. Almost all rain forests lie near the equator. Rainforests now cover less than 6% of Earth's land surface. AlpineCold, snowy, windy. In the summer average temperatures range from 10 to 15° C . In the winter the temperatures are below freezing. The winter season can last from October to May. The summer season may last from June to September. The temperatures in the Alpine biome can also change from warm to freezing in one day. Alpine animals have to deal with two types of problems: the cold and too much high UV wavelengths. 4. How are plants adapted to life in the biome?

You can ferry out there and send a postcard, stamped with the only Great Barrier Reef stamp. The Australian Alps, or Snowy Mountains as they are also known, receive more snow than Switzerland. Melbourne has the second largest Greek population in the world, after Athens. Historical Highlights The Native Australians, or Aborigines, have lived in Australia for at least 40,000 years. There may have been between a half million to a full million Aborigines at the time of European settlement; today about 350,000 live in Australia.

North America. Also are finded in tempered areas of South America. Climate: The average temperature in temperate forests is 50° F. Summers are mild, and average about 70° F, while winter temperatures are often well blow freezing. The average yearly precipitation is 30-60 inches. This precipitation falls throughout the year, but in the winter it falls as snow. There are four seasons in this biome, with warm summers and cold winters, often snowy. In autumn, the leaves change color and fall from the trees. The leaves decay on the forest floor, so the soil is very rich. Because of this, and because of the long growing season, many deciduous forests have been cut down for farming purposes. Plants: Trees of this biome include hardwoods such as maple, oak, hickory, and beech. There are often some evergreens, such as hemlock, spruce, and fir growing amongst them. Decidous forests have usually 3-5 layers of plants;

the key sectors of the economy. The flag of Estonia is a tricolour featuring three equal horizontal bands of blue, black and white in the downwards order. The Estonian flag first came to prominence in the 1880s as the flag of the Estonian Students' Society at the University of Tartu. The flag became associated with Estonian nationalism and was used as the national flag when the Declaration of Independence was issued in 1918. During occupations, the flag has been banned several times. In a good, snowy winter, the Estonians' favourite leisure activity is probably skiing. In spring, Estonians often leave the cities for the weekends. Many families have a cottage in the countryside. As approximately half of Estonia is covered with woodlands and wetlands, going for long walks in the wild is also very popular among Estonians. Since a forest is seldom farther away than a half-an-hour's drive, people often go there for a mushroom hunt, to watch the beautiful wildlife or just for a relaxing walk

Fuji is the central figure in the work (representation of famous places) Thirty six views of Mount Fuji, which give a portrait of the mountain seen from various angles. In Japan Mt. Fuji is considered sacred and is a symbol of national identity, [19] in addition to being considered a symbol of beauty.[20] The dark color around Fuji seems to indicate that the image takes place early in the morning, with the sun rising from the point of the observer, and illuminating the snowy peak. Between the mountain and the viewer there are cumulonimbus clouds, and although they indicate a storm, there is rain on neither Fuji nor the main scene. [21] Boats In the scene there are three oshiokuri-bune, fast boats that are used to transport live fish[22] from the Izu and Bs peninsulas to the markets of the bay of Edo. As the name of the piece indicates the boats are in Kanagawa prefecture, with Tokyo to the north, Mt Fuji to the northeast, the bay of Sagami to the south. and

Perhaps Canada's most famous animal is the moose. They, along with grizzly bears, are the most well-known of its many mammals. Gray wolves are also very popular in Canadian large wild spaces. There are plenty others, though. The wolverine is a large member of the weasels' family. It has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion with its size, with the documented ability to kill pray many times larger than itself. Some of Canada's best known birds are the Canada goose and the snowy owl. It is believed that the first people the native people came to the country from Siberia by crossing a land bridge during the last Ice Age, at least 10,000 years before the Europeans arrived. The natives lived in harmony with nature and took only what they needed to survive. The first Europeans arriving there changed that, however. Those were the Vikings from the north. A famous Viking explorer built a settlement there, but it was abandoned. The first

Christmas in different countrys(jõulud erinevates maades)

The Christmas festivities are preceded by a visit to the famous steam baths, after which everyone dressed in clean clothes in preparation for the Christmas dinner, which is served at 5-7 in the evening. Christmas gifts may be given out before or after the dinner. The children do not hang up stockings, but Santa Claus comes in person, often accompanied by as many as half a dozen Christmas elves to distribute the presents. The main dish of the dinner is boiled codfish served snowy white and fluffy, with allspice, boiled potatoes, and cream sauce. The dried cod has been soaked for a week in a lye solution, then in clear water to soften it to the right texture. Also on the menu is roast suckling pig or a roasted fresh ham, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. After dinner the children go to bed while the older people stay up to chat with visitors and drink coffee until about midnight. Christmas Day services in the churches begin at six in the morning

It's highest point is Mount Kosciuszko, which is 2,228 metres high. The Snowy Mountains in New South Wales are also part of the Alps. The most famous land mark of Australia is the Uluru. It's a large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory. It lies 335 km south west of the nearest large town, Alice Springs; 450 km by road. I shouldn't have to run away. I decided to permit myself one glance at the Cullen family's table. If he was glaring at me, I would skip Biology, like the coward I was. I kept my head down and glanced up under my lashes. None of them were looking this way. I lifted my head a little. They were laughing. Edward, Jasper, and Emmett all had their hair entirely saturated with melting snow. Alice and Rosalie were leaning away as Emmett shook his dripping hair toward them. They were enjoying the snowy day, just like everyone else -- only they looked more like a scene from a movie than the rest of us. But, aside from the laughter and playfulness, there was something different, and I couldn't quite pinpoint what that difference was. I examined Edward the most carefully. His skin was less pale, I decided -- flushed from the snow fight maybe -- the circles under his eyes much less noticeable. But there was something more. I pondered, staring, trying to isolate the change.
