I am a 20-year-old Portugese student and I come from Coimbra in the north of Portugal. At present I am still studying at college but I am taking my final exams in May. I have studied English for six years but I want to spend some time in England in order to improve my spoken English. Firstly, nowadays almost every indoor vocation requires computer knowledge because all paperwork is done with a computer. Work with computer is comfortable and much easier. People are dedicated to computers. They can make researches, find information and cannot even imagine their everyday life without computers.
What a terrible day! Today I woke up at 7:30 as usual. Before I went to school, I met my friend. She didn`t just pass by, as she did before. She said hello and asked some stupid questions. same class, 10 years in a row! Robin is 6 months younger than me he is 16 years old. Robin is quite tall 188 cm, skinny and paleskinned. Comparing with boys, Robin has very long and wavy brown hair. In summer he had a haircut called ,,cornrow", but now his hair is taid back in a ponytail. He is attractive and good looking person. Every time I see him, he smiles. He tends to be very positive and cheerful. He is active and has no difficulty making new friends. I also find him to be courteous and kindhearted. If his friends are in a trouble, Robin always tries to help them. Robin can be very humorous. Sometimes it is very funny to listen to his jokes during the break. He also has an artistic side. Can money buy happiness Since I can remember I have heard people say, that money cannot buy happiness. I generally believe it to be true; the most important things in life, such as friends, family and love can't be bought. However, in today's world we must agree that life without money can be really stressful and hard. If one doesn't have any money, one can't afford to pay rent, buy food, clothes, get medical help if needed or basically do anything. For example, people in developing countries are very poor, they don't have access to pure drinking water or food and they are unable to get proper medical help and that's why in Africa there are always all kinds of diseases spreading
school work also. As a result, you school work suffers. I think teachers try to keep our motivation and give us a little work as possible. Distance learning may be hard for social people. If you can´t communicate with your friends and maybe teachers, it can really affect you mental health. But nowadays we can communicate in different social platforms. It makes this a little bit easier. We can also do video calls with friends and teachers. So we can discuss our school work. To sum up, we need to stay home right know and we need make it work. All things considered we are doing fine and I think our school work don´t suffers much. I can´t wait to go to school.
I am a girl of sixteen. When I look at myself in the mirror I see a blond girl with short straight hair, dark eyes and slander figure. As to my appearance I'm rather tall and slim. I have never thought I'm a beauty I whish I were more beautiful. I think that I'm even tempered, rather reserved, calm and modest. But sometimes I can lose my tempo and become either angry or sad. I like staying alone and sometimes I retire into my shell. But at the same time I like my friends, I like to laugh and joke. I have got a sense of humour. It means I understand humour and appreciate it. There are many things in our life I like and some I dislike. I like when everything is OK. Being happy is one way of being wise.
