How to prevent petty crime?

How to prevent petty crime? Nowadays danger is everywhere. Everything can happen with you or near you, when you are not careful enough. What do you need to do to feel safer? There are plenty of things that you can do to avoid pretty crime. If you drive somewhere a car, then wherever you park do not forget to lock your doors and pay attention that your windows are also closed. If you forget to do it, someone may steal your car. When you walk in the street or you take a bus then always check that your pockets are closed and your bag is closed. You never know when someone wants to steal your mobile phone or your wallet. If you want to feel safer then always check your items in your pockets or keep them empty. If you want you may carry tear gas because when someone attacks you, then you can protect yourself. If you have a change, try to avoid empty streets and do not dress too intriguingly, because then yo...

What can be done to prevent petty crime?

What can be done to prevent petty crime? Nowadays more and more young people have started comit petty crime and people believe that thouse can be prevented. I support this view for a variety of reasons. To start with petty crime can be prevented with teenagers, the problematical ones in particular should participate to educational courses organised by the state where they can learn everything about these petty crimes an also how to avoid getting in the middle of them. It is very important to organise this meetings in the poor districts where teenagers are prone to ilicit activities such as pickpocketing or even burglery. Another method of reducing petty crime is that the people should learn how to protect their houses and their valuable goods. They should also learn how to protect themselves by thieves in order to not become victims of this criminal activity. It is very important to make people understand t...

Harsher punishments will reduce the amount of crime

Harsher punishments will reduce the amount of crime.

Harsher punishments will reduce the amount of crime. Is it safe to live your life nowadays? Unfortunately it does not seem like that. Almost everyone can say that they have had some contact with crimes, it can vary from a minor offence to even a murder. But how can we reduce the amount of crime? Are harsher punishments the solution? Firstly I think that if the punishments are as weak as they are now, it won't make the criminals think. They get punished and still commit crimes. Probably the biggest punishment for a petty theft is community service which isn't much of a punishment. It gives the feeling that a person can do what he wants, live like he wants and nothing happens. Furthermore I think that the life in prison is actually quite good. A place to sleep, food and people. Many prisoners who get out of prison are not afraid to go back. They have a stable life there and they are satisfied On th...

1) 1.Racism 2. Crime 3. Unemployment 4. Alcohol/Drug abuse 5. Economic recession 6. Poverty 7. Riots 2) Racism is a common problem in many countries and in Englad it is present because there are many immigrants from all over the world. As it is a widespread social problem it's also one of the worst ones, because the hatred directed to different races or even nationalities makes the foreign people feel bad and also to hate the locals. This brings up many conflicts like the bombings in 2005 (when 4 islamic suicide bombers killed thmeselves and 52 civilians), but usually the conflicts are smaller, like brawls between different ethnic groups or mockery and insults. 3)In 1999 was the biggest racism related crime in the last 3 decades, when a Neo-Nazi David Copeland placed homemade nailbombs at public places directed to african and bangladeshian communities and killing 13 and injuring 139 people.,. Petty crimes are commited ...

Batman

I The Birth of Batman The creation of the fictional superhero Batman is credited to artist Bob Kane, even though in reality he was cocreated with writer Bill Finger. Batman first appeared in 1939 in Detective Comics #27. Since then Batman has been an important and influential character in the comic book universe. Publisher of DC Comics, Vin Sullivan was looking for something new for Detective Comics, which would be as intriguing as Superman had been in Action Comics, but it had to be something completely new. Sullivan's ideas inspired Kane, and he credits the creation of Batman as much to Sullivan as to himself. Kane's first image was very much a hero with birdlike wings, but during the process of drawing evolved into a more ...
