abiks.pri.ee There is big different between home school and state school. The way how there are taught is different too. There are arguments both for an advantage and disadvantage. Firstly in home school parents have the freedom to decide what to teach. Furthermore they have the freedom to decide how to teach. Secondly parents can teach their children more than just facts and when children learning what interests them, it motivates them to learn even more. But on the other hand home schooling isn't the best way. In state schools are more children and they can speak between each other and it is helping in future. Moreover children learn how to judgement with others. In state schools child can do teamwork and it is very usefull. To sum up there are some good things and bad things in home schooling. But it seems to me that state school is better way, because when you grow up in society it is easier to move on.
Paul Graham, “Hackers & Painters” A Summary In “Hackers & Painters, Paul Graham, computer science expert and painter, explains examines what motivates computer programmers to do what they do, as well as attempt to answer many of the questions that have arisen with computers. Graham's first chapter, "Why Nerds Are Unpopular," tries to explain why smart kids are at the bottom of
What Makes a Successful Manager? A manager is a person who is responsible for everything that happens in the company. He gives out orders to subordinates so that everything would function fluently and makes sure that those are fulfilled. A successful manager often is not a successful business owner because those are two totally different positions and demand for different qualities and personality traits. What makes a successful manager? Firstly, in my opinion the manager should be an excellent communicator and more important I find being a good motivator as employees normally quite often have ups and downs or loss of motivation, so it is crucial for the company that the manager were up to motivate and find suitable solutions for his subordinates. Secondly, I think that the manager should have a positive attitude, for example, even though the situation is really bad and some others would have given up as seeing it ...
Usually people set goals for themselves and attain them step by step, but how important is it in general? The advantages of setting goals include firstly, acting on a certain plan. If people have their goals straighten out, then they will not come to a point where they do not know what to do or what will happen next. It is much easier to move from one point to another if there is a direction. Secondly, if one goal is attained then people feel already sense of achievement, which motivates them to go onward. Therefore pushing their limits toward success. The disadvantage is if people set goals for a too short time period. As people might feel then a sense of failure, therefore thinking that their aim is unrealistic. Since everything needs time, then there is no point in rushing. The main idea is to let things take their own pace. In conclusion, if people are realistic, consistent and patient, then everything is possible and sky is the limit
profitable. One of the most streamed songs, Avicii’s release Wake Me Up! got over 168 million streams. And yet, that only made $12,359 in Pandora domestic royalties. Many songwriters feel like they’re work is being devalued. Consider the fact that it takes roughly one million spins on Pandora for a songwriter to earn just 90$. Also, songwriters are forced to make more incomes and leave song writing as a hobby. They may even end up quitting songwriting because nothing motivates them. In conclusion, I think that a good and passionate songwriter doesn’t complain about his/her salary or income. Music industry is extremely huge and so is the competition: if Taylor Swift removes her songs from Spotify, another one’s songs take her spot and listeners. Supporting your favourites isn’t always a bad idea, but support should come by itself.
such as water, air and forests products. However, things have improved in recent years. What has been done to improve the environment in Estonia? People today are too lazy to think or to do something to protect the environment. They dump their waste into forests and even rivers which causes air and water pollution. Fortunately, people have come up with different organisations and events to help clean our envrionment. An annual event such as ,,Teeme ära!" motivates people to go out, spend time with friends and family and have fun while cleaning up the trash. This event first took place in 2008 and is now one of the biggest worldwide environmental events. Estonian Commission on Sustainable Development is one of the organisations that is working on improving the conditions of our country´s environment. This organisation focuses on the growth of welfare, economical balance and viability of the Estonian cultural space. Its
information, they already know. Big disadvantage is that you can not see other people emotions. When you write, you do not see how person behind the screen reacts. You will never know is that topic good or bad for that human. We may not undrestand what people want to say with their sentences and emoticons. With that way you can hurt someone really bad or get hurt yourself. Third very good advantage is that Facebook motivates people to do some workout. In facebook you can scroll up and down and see beautiful bodies. Sometimes it is reason why to go to the gym. Right now in Facebook is call run every morning and get a gift. Lot of people now go running in the mornings, because they have a goal. Goal is simple: ‘’Run hundred days and get a gift’’. Unfortunately not all of users think that it is good goal
It means that he can replace one player in his/her team incase he wants too or a player cant continou playing. In official matches up to 3 substitutions are allowed in a game and the decision is made during the game vased on the players performance. Usuallt the substitute bench consists of 1 goalkeeper,2 defenders 2 midfielders and 2 strikers. Rarely a team has to substitute both goalkeepers and a player whos not originaly a goalkeeper will have to do his best. Football unites peole and motivates peole to do sports. The down side is that during International matches where the competeing nations are represented by their best players, spectators often get furius and cause huge ight between fans to settle the game with fists. Football can make people cheer and unite peole.

She would have been nearly drowned, if she hadn't been saved by a mysterious man. It turns out that the man is from India and also the owner of land, where the closed mine is. Meena's family decide to move out of Tollington. Characterize and analyze the main characters (what motivates them, are they round or flat characters, do they develop, if so, in what way) Meena Kumar is 9 years old and lives in the village of Tollington `the jewel of the Black Country', the daughter of Indian parents who have come to England to give her a better life. Meena is, much to her parents' chagrin, no angel: She lies, commits minor thefts, and has the bad habit of making vulgar remarks when her prim and proper aunties are around. She is also having a difficult time adjusting to
(Godwin-Jones, 2003, p. 13). Hence, blogs could be used to monitor and assess students' work as well as to encourage interaction among students and between teachers and students. The following sections outline the characteristics of blogs that make them useful tools for language teaching and learning (Yang, 2009, p. 13). Firstly, there has always been problem with the low students' motivation for reading and writing. But, studies have also shown that Internet access motivates many students to read extensively (Yang, 2009, pp. 1315). Students have an opportunity to read things in which they are interested and write things they truly wish to write, thereby determining their own texts in language education and combining text with conversations in a very personal and stimulating way. Apparently, the use of blogs might be a way to provide such motivation for reading in a language other than one's mother tongue, through the interactive nature of the blog.
A country might see its economic future as operating more on a regional than a global level, and thus devote extra resources to fostering a local lingua franca. Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, and German are other examples of languages which have a traditional presence within a number of geographically adjacent countries. (Cristal) The need for intelligibility and the need for identity often pull people – and countries – in opposing directions. The former motivates the learning of an international language, with English the first choice in most cases; the latter motivates the promotion of ethnic language and culture. Conflict is the common consequence when either position is promoted insensitively. [3, p. 125- 126 ] With its widespread all over the globe English became open to the winds of linguistic change in totally unpredictable ways, in the emergence of new varieties of English in the different territories where the language has taken root
managing millions of dollars, and creating a life he has always dreamed of. People still ask him for money, but he knows exactly who he would like to help and how he would like to help them. He sticks to his plans. He invests his money wisely, and hires someone to help him manage his funds. He starts the business he has always dreamed of, and goes to sleep every night imagining the challenges he will need to overcome, but also the rewards that will come with tackling these challenges. This motivates him to keep moving forward, and the changes and strains in his life are ultimately bringing out the best in him. This would be classified as ‘eustress.’ 47. countries. If the book generates the kind of dialogue, debate or argument for or against the position I have taken, so be it. But it would even be more relevant if in the process, solutions are offered to help extricate Africans from being a consumer to a productive race. I decided to write ‘Capitalist Nigger’ also as a doctrine of making money and creating wealth. I am not ashamed to say that I am also purely motivated by the same greed that motivates Caucasians with “killer-instincts” and “devil-may-care” convictions. I see myself as an Economic Warrior for my people and not a victim. As a predator and not a victim, I have decided to confront the truth of my misfortune and when I look in the mirror I see the culprit standing right in front of me – it is me. As the saying goes, truth shall set you free. Truth has set me free. The truth in being a Capitalist Nigger is that it sets you free
All key members must be involved as early as possible from owner to end user. Roles are not restrictively defined, but assigned on a "best person" basis. 2. Mutual Benefit and Reward: All team members and participants benefit from IPD. In IPD the members are involved as early as possible, and IPD compensation structures recognize and reward early involvement. The compensation structure motivates the search for better solutions and value added by the temporary organization, and it rewards "whats best for the project". Incentives are tied to the achievement of project goals or even more. 3. Collaborative Innovation and Decision Making: Team members are motivated to be innovative, and it can only happen when ideas are judged on their merit, not on the authors role or status. Each partys idea will be taken under consideration equally, no matter his or her
Routledge Contemporary Introductions to Philosophy Series Editor: Paul K. Moser Loyola University of Chicago This innovative, well-structured series is for students who have already done an introductory course in philosophy. Each book introduces a core general subject in contemporary philosophy and offers students an accessible but substantial transition from introductory to higher-level college work in that subject. The series is accessible to non-specialists and each book clearly motivates and expounds the problems and positions introduced. An orientating chapter briefly introduces its topic and reminds readers of any crucial material they need to have retained from a typical introductory course. Considerable attention is given to explaining the central philosophical problems of a subject and the main competing solutions and arguments for those solutions. The primary aim is to educate students in the main problems, positions and arguments of contemporary
