ceremony and then it is moved to her right hand. And it is said that if you want to be sure of a sweet life, then you should carry a lump of sugar in your glove on your wedding day. After the ceremony the bride goes to the groom's house where the wedding flag is raised again. Then she throws a piece of old iron onto the roof to symbolize the strength of her new home. Then there is the reception. It is a Greek tradition to dance the Kalamantiano, the Circle Dance at the reception. It is danced by all the family and it is the first dance that these two families dance together as one. During the reception a traditional plate smashing celebration is held because broken plates symbolize good luck and happiness and the permanence of marriage. Another dance in Greek wedding is the money dance. This one is danced by the bride and the groom. During this almost never-ending dance the guests will pin several notes and money on the bride's and groom's outfit instead of giving gifts

Princess Diana: Duran Duran Princess Diana declared Duran Duran to be "her favourite band" but she was also rather fond of Bryan Adams. Diana's record collection also included albums by Michael Jackson, Dire Straits, Tina Turner and Chris de Burgh. And she once danced with David Bowie at a concert by jazz singer George Melly. Queen Elizabeth II: Lady Gaga The Queen is not reported to be much of a music fan (Bach aside) although she did smile on meeting Lady Gaga following the Royal Variety Performance in 2009 in Blackpool. experience is even more important than talent. Some jobs like a driver, police officer or firefighter need experience. Anybody isn’t born for becoming a firefighter. I believe that if you have a real intention, then you can be anything you want, you just have to work for it. I can’t say i am a talented dancer, but i have a real intention to dance, so i work hard to become more and more experienced If i hadn’t trained it i would not be there, where i am now: i have danced on many different stages in Estonia and abroad, for instance i have participated in World Championships and two times i have had chance to perform in television. So if you haven’t a talent, but you have a real intention, you can achieve anything you want even if it seems impossible. Finally, If you have both: talent and experience, it is the best way to succeed in your work. Like Irving Berling has said: “Talent is only the starting point“. If you have a talent and

happiness. In the ballet there were two types of people. To the first type belonged the Farmer, whose most important life goal was to get more money. It can't be said that he was happy, because the process of gaining money hindered his relationships with others. He had no positive emotions or feelings and even his daughter did not love him because of his greediness. The second type of people were the peasants. In spite of they poverty, they were caring and cheerful. They sang and danced a lot and enjoyed their life without huge amounts of money. They could take the Farmers' money, but they did not, because it was not earned fairly. Compering to the Farmer, the peasants had right life morals and principies. In conclusion, I would like to say that it was one of the most powerful and interesting performances that I have seen in my life. The Estonian folclore was succesfully combined with contemporary dance, lighting effects and symphonic music.

Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. "I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?" "Sure," said the farmer. And with that he let out a whistle,"Here,Dolly!" he called. Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight. As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared; this One noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up.... "I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the runt.

gender. It is also linked to the origin of "love making." Before the production of written languages, dance was one of the methods of passing these stories down from generation to generation. Although dance is often accompanied by music, it can also be presented independently or provide its own accompaniment (tap dance). Dance presented with music may or may not be performed in time to the music depending on the style of dance. Dance performed without music is said to be danced to its own rhythm. There are very many kind of dancing styles such as: Jig, Waltz, Tango, Disco, Salsa, Electronica and Hip-Hop etc. Nowadays the dancing is very popular to spend leisure time. Many people work in the field of dance (e.g. trainers, professional dancers etc.). To others it is more of a way for spending leisure time: people dance at parties and in clubs, some go to dance trainings. Very many different dance competitions are held. Nevertheless, she gives her all to live up to the same social standards and values as she is raised to follow. Because of her upbringing she frequently wonders how disrespectfully some people dare to speak or act. Yet she really wants to become a part of the grown-ups world. She secretly admires older people and wants to be around them. For instance, she admires workmen and once she even forgets herself to think how she would like to have workmen for her friends rather than the silly boys she danced with and who came to Sunday night supper. She believes she would get on much better with men like these. In many ways, she is a sensitive girl in her formative years, whose feelings fluctuate along with the values she assigns to the external world and objects. Also worth mentioning is the fact that when a nearby neighbor is killed she sympathizes the man with all her heart and intends to call off the garden party. However, her

There were 102 men, women and children on the ship- The pilgrims were poorly trained and poorly equipped to cope with life in the wilderness. One spring morning in 1621, an Indian came into the little village of Plymouth and introduced himself in friendly way. The Indians taught the pilgrims how to hunt, fish, and grow food. Because of this help from Indians, the pilgrims had a good harvest that year. Governor William Bradford invited the Indians to a feast. It lasted three days. They ate, danced, sang, ran races, whistled. This was called thanksgiving day. On October 3, 1863 Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national thanksgiving. Many of the traditions of the modern American thanksgiving come from that first thanksgiving celebration more than 300 years ago. People eat squash, corn, turkey, Indian pudding and pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving is a four-day holiday. Schools are closed on thanksgiving, and grownups don't work. People spend the holiday among family. 5) MICHAEL FARADAY

Mr. Bingley had soon made himself acquainted with all the principal people in the room; he was lively and unreserved, danced every dance, was angry that the ball closed so early, and talked of giving one himself at Netherfield. Such amiable qualities must speak for themselves. What a contrast between him and his friend! Mr. Darcy danced only once with Mrs. Hurst and once with Miss Bingley, declined being introduced to any other lady, and spent the rest of the evening in walking about the room, speaking occasionally to one of his own party. I hung up and took the stairs, deciding the twenty-floor descent would serve double-duty as both an avoidance technique and a replacement for a visit to the gym. I was so grateful to be home after the day I'd had that I practically danced through my apartment's front door. My heartfelt "God, it's good to be home!" and accompanying spin was vehement enough to startle the couple on the couch. "Oh," I said, wincing at my own silliness. Cary wasn't in a compromising position with his guest when I barged in, but they'd been sitting close enough to suggest intimacy. Grudgingly, I thought of Gideon Cross, who preferred to strip all intimacy out of the most intimate act I could imagine

We were near the parking lot now. I veered left, toward my truck. Something caught my jacket, yanking me back. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked, outraged. He was gripping a fistful of my jacket in one hand. I was confused. "I'm going home." "Didn't you hear me promise to take you safely home

The first of the latter moves is semantically desperate; the second, in the absence of some independent motivation, is ad hoc. 10 According to cummings' poem "anyone lived in a pretty how town" (cited in chapter 1), its protagonist [A]nyone "sang his didn't he danced his did" (line 4). 11 Searle himself reserves the term "indirect" for types of communication, such as indirect force and some conversational implicature, in which one conveys a second meaning in addition to meaning what one's sentence says. 12 A real-life example, I am sorry to say, brought up by Hans during a seminar. 13 This idea is actually very old; Aristotle explored it, and it was vigorously elaborated by the medieval philosophers. Finally one night I awakened at midnight, for I had retired early, and out of the darkness came the conviction that a certain series of two-letter codewords absolutely must equal Airurando (Ireland). Then other words danced before me in rapid succession: dokuritsu (independence), Doitsu (Germany) , owari (stop). At last the great discovery! My heart stood still, and I dared not move.
