Lewis died three years after his wife, as the result of renal failure(neeru puudulikkus). His death came one week before his 65th birthday. Media coverage of his death was minimal, as he died on 22 November 1963 the same day that U.S. President John F. an attempt could be made at any of them. Swagger assesses each of the locations and determines that a site in Philadelphia would be most conducive to a long range assassination attempt. He passes this information to Johnson, who purportedly arranges for a response. This turns out to be a set-up; while Swagger is working with Johnson's agents, including a local police officer, to find the rumored assassin, the Ethiopian archbishop is instead assassinated while standing next to the president. Swagger is shot by the officer, but manages to escape. The agents tell the police and public that Swagger is the shooter, and stage a massive manhunt for the injured sniper. However, Swagger has a stroke of luck--he meets a rookie FBI special agent, Nick Memphis (Michael Peña), disarms him and steals his car. Swagger uses the first aid supplies in the car to treat his wounds and escapes by driving into the Delaware River while being chased

This shows how the Revolution makes everybody equal and unifies even opposite sides. Moreover, above the oath takers some soldiers watch upon the activities ready to disband the whole Parliament and outside the windows there is lightning that struck to the royal cathedral symbolizing the soon fall of the king. (Roberts, 1989, p.53) During the bloodiest year of the French Revolution, 1793, David was offered to paint three depictions of Revolution martyrs, who were assassinated for being Republican. With the three portrays and mainly with the first two, David had the opportunity to encourage citizens to be loyal, through showing violence that triggers pity and this, in turn, triggers loyalty. (Roberts, 1989, p.90) The first to be painted was Le Peletier de Saint-Fargeau, who was murdered in 1793. His murderer, a former royal guard, killed Le Peletier because he voted for the death of the king.

In April 1861 four more states seceded, and the Civil War began. In less than 5 years, more than 600,000 men were killed. Five days after the surrender treaty was signed, President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by a Southern sympathizer. But in the end of the war slavery was abolished. At the outbreak of World War I in 1914, the United States remained neutral. The Union of Utrecht became the nucleus of the present Dutch nation. In 1581 the Dutch provinces within the Union of Utrecht proclaimed their independence from Spain. Subsequently, the new nation suffered a series of reverses in the war with Spain, sustaining a major loss when William the Silent was assassinated in 1584. By 1585 the Spanish had reconquered practically all the south, including the important port of Antwerp. Eventually, however, the tide of war turned in favor of the Dutch. From 1585 to 1587 English troops were sent overseas to aid the insurgent cause, and in 1588 the English destroyed the great Spanish Armada, a victory that drastically curtailed the ability of Spain to wage war abroad. The seven provinces in the Union of Utrecht were cleared of Spanish troops by 1600. (3)

in 150 BC, when a rebellion began in the north. The Lusitanians and other native tribes, under the leadership of Viriathus, wrested control of all of western Iberia. Rome sent numerous legions and its best generals to Lusitania to quell the rebellion, but to no avail -- the Lusitanians kept conquering territory. The Roman leaders decided to change their strategy. They bribed Viriathus's allies to kill him. In 139 BC, Viriathus was assassinated, and Tautalus became leader. Rome installed a colonial regime. The complete Romanization of Lusitania only took place in the Visigothic era. In 27 BC, Lusitania gained the status of Roman province, the Lusitanians lost their freedom and became opressed. Later, a northern province of Lusitania was formed, known as Gallaecia, with capital in Bracara Augusta, today's Braga. Homer's language is not precise enough to tell exactly what the markings on the tablets were. They were probably nothing more than ordinary letters—actually substitution of symbols for letters seems too sophisticated for the era of the Trojan War. But the mystery that Homer throws around the tablets does suggest that some rudimentary form of concealment was used, perhaps some such allusion as "Treat this man as well as you did Glaucus," naming someone whom the king had had assassinated. The whole tone of the reference makes it fairly certain that here, in the first great literary work of European culture, appear that culture's first f aint glimmerings of secrecy in communication. A few centuries later, those glimmerings had become definite beams of light. Several stories in the Histories of Herodotus deal specifically with methods of steganography (not cryptography). The Father of History tells how one of the most important messages in the history of Western
