Smacking children
Parents all
over the world use smacking in the purpose of discipline, even though
in reality it is child abuse. Children’s behaviour needs to be
controlled but they shouldn’t be suffering.
Firstly it seems to me that parents who continuously beat their children don’t
care about them . Although few slight slaps for punishment are enough
parents still beat them hard. Parents should be the ones who protect children not the ones who children have to be afraid of.
In addition
some parents equate smacking with discipline although these two are
not the same . Teaching is discipline, smacking is punishment. Parents
who don't smack their children still discipline them. They are just
using ways that don’t involve pain.

Some people say that children should be given a chance to solve their problems on their own. Some people say that parents should make all their children’s decisions until the children are 18. By the law of our country, parents have the right to make important decisions about their children's lives. Parental obligations end when a child reaches the age of majority, which is 18 years old. Truancy in school individual responsibility Hello ladies and gentlemen, today I am here to talk to you about truancy in school and why is it an individual responsibility. Truancy in school is a very serious problem nowadays. Unfortunately many students have lost their motivation to study. According to the BBC 400,000 children were persistently absent from England's schools in the past year and missed about one month of school each. The effect that poor attendance at school can have on a child's education can be permanent and damaging but skipping should be child's own responsibility and it is not right to punish the parents for it. Students have many reasons why they are skipping school, mostly they do not like the teachers or the subjects that they are taught. They tend think that they won't need
