Chemical treatment often deals with the addition of certain chemicals, in order to make sure that the contaminants change structure and can then be removed more easily. Removal of contaminants can also be done through more difficult specific chemical processes. It takes a lot of education to fully understand these purification steps. Physical treatment usually deals with purification steps such as filtration. Water purification methods City water is purified water that was initially raw water taken at an intake station from a river and then sent to a water purification plant, where it became purified to meet water quality standards. A water purification plant can thus be thought of as a facility that treats raw water and removes its impurities, making the water safe. In other words a water purification plant is essentially a factory for producing drinking water. Water can be purified in several ways.
MDRTB testi (määratakse tundlikkus amikatsiini, kanamütsiini, kapreomütsiini, ofloksatsiini ja protionamiidi suhtes) QuantiferonTB test TUBERKULIINI TEST Võimaldab kindlaks teha tuberkuloosse infektsiooni olemasolu organismis. Positiivne tuberkuliintest viitab ainult infektsiooni olemasolule. Haigust (tuberkuloosi) ei pruugi olla. Tuberkuliin on M. tuberculosis’e antigeen PPD (Purified Protein Derivate). Oma olemuselt on see tuberkuloosibakterite kultuuri steriliseeritud pretsipitaat. Tuberkuliini süstitakse 2 TÜ nahasisesi käsivarre keskmisele kolmandikule. Reaktsiooni paapuli diameetrit hinnatakse 72 tunni pärast mõõtes risti käsivarre pikiteljega. PROFÜLAKTIKA Bacillus CalmetteGuérin (BCG) on üks enim kasutatavaid vaktsiine
People have discovered a way to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. It is possible to seperate the CO2 from the other gases by adding liquid which is very good at absorbing CO2. Then it can be pumped to underground. Scientist came up with this idea because methane gas has been down there for thousands of years and it has not come up. So they expect that the CO2 won't be coming up either. To be sure of that, they are coing to make a test and drill two wells to take purified CO2, inject it into the ground and monitor the physical changes that CO2 undergoes. This technology is really new and it is unknown to people. It has not been proven yet, so people are scared and concerned about it. The biggest fear is that carbon dioxide will leak out but we don't have to be worried about that, because CO2 is everywhere around us and it is not poisonous. But still, if we have very concentrated carbon dioxide, it is hazardous and that's purpose of monitoring
The chemical is also 5 known as coffeine, theine, mateine, guaranine, or methyltheobromine. Caffeine is naturally 6 produced by several plants, including coffee beans, guarana, yerba maté, cacao beans, and tea. 7 For the plants, caffeine acts as a natural pesticide. It paralyzes and kills insects that attempt to 8 feed on the plants. The molecule was first isolated by the German chemist Friedrich Ferdinand 9 Runge in 1819. 10 When purified, caffeine is an intensely bitter white powder. It is added to colas and other soft 11 drinks to impart a pleasing bitter note. However, caffeine is also an addictive stimulant. In 12 humans, it stimulates the central nervous system, heart rate, and respiration, has psychotropic 13 (mood altering) properties, and acts as a mild diuretic. 14 A normal dose of caffeine is generally considered to be 100 mg, which is roughly the amount 15 found in a cup of coffee

Kirurgia isaksloetakse al-Zahrawit (Abulcasis). Tema tähtsaim töö on ,,Meditsiini meetod"

dramatically expanded the range and size of viable resources, especially for direct applications such as home heating. Geothermal wells tend to release greenhouse gases trapped deep within the earth, but these emissions are much lower than those of conventional fossil fuels. As a result, this technology has the potential to help mitigate global warming if widely deployed. How it works Hot rocks underground heat water to produce steam. We drill holes down to the hot region, steam comes up, is purified and used to drive turbines, which drive electric generators. There may be natural "groundwater" in the hot rocks anyway, or we may need to drill more holes and pump water down to them. The first geothermal power station was built at Landrello, in Italy, and the second was at Wairekei in New Zealand. Others are in Iceland, Japan, the Philippines and the United States. In Iceland, geothermal heat is used to heat houses as well as for generating electricity.
Tuberkuloosi epidemioloogilise situatsiooni järgi grupeeritakse riigid endeemilisteks ja mitteendeemilisteks. Mitteendeemiliste riikide jaoks on esmatähtis kõrge riski rühmas latentse infektsiooni kindlakstegemine algetapil, puhangute ärahoidmine (olme- ja nosokomiaalse leviku kiire avastamine) ja mükobakterioosiga patsientide avastamine. Kasutatavad testid: Rakulise immuniteedi määramine (naha testid) – PPD (purified protein derivates) • Puuduseks on reaktiivsus teistele mükobakteritele ja BCG-le – INF-γγ (Quatiferon-gamma test) Tuberkuloosi diagnoosimiseks endeemilistes riikides kasutatakse klassikalist laboratoorset algoritmi: mikroskoopia, haigustekitaja isoleerimine, biokeemiliste omaduste määramine, seroloogilised reaktsioonid, ravimtundlikkuse määramine, molekulaarsed meetodid. Aktiivse tuberkuloosi olemasolu kinnitab bakterite isoleerimine rögast

Death Star. T h e Road Back in E. T. is the moonlight bicycle flight of Elliott and E. T as they escape from "Keys" (Peter Coyote), who represents repressive governmental authority. T h i s stage marks the decision to return to the Ordinary W o r l d . T h e hero realizes that the Special W o r l d must eventually be left behind, and there are still dangers, temptations, and tests ahead. 11. RESURRECTION In ancient times, hunters and warriors had to be purified before they returned to their communities, because they had blood on their hands. T h e hero who has been to the realm of the dead must be reborn and cleansed in one last Ordeal of death and Resurrection before returning to the Ordinary W o r l d of the living. T h i s is often a second life-and-death moment, almost a replay of the death and rebirth of the Ordeal. Death and darkness get in one last, desperate shot before being finally defeated
