Helena Tulve Helena Tulve sündis 1972. aastal Tallinnas. 1990. aastal lõpetas ta Tallinna Muusikakeskkooli kompositsiooni erialal, kus tema juhendajaks oli Alo Põldmäe. 19901992 õppis Erkki-Sven Tüüri klassis heliloomingut, hiljem täiendas end Pariisi Rahvuslikus Regionaalkonservatooriumis, õppides Jacques Charpentier' kompositsiooniklassis, mille lõpetas 1994. aastal. Seejärel täiendas ta end Pariisi Rahvuslikus Kõrgemas Muusika ja Tantsu Konservatooriumis gregooriuse laulu ja traditsioonilise muusika alal. Helena Tulve ei komponeeri palju, ent enamus tema teostest on leidnud väga sooja vastuvõtu. Tema muusikat on esitatud mitmel pool maailmas.
