Kuid soovitav on siiski maalitud pinnad lakkida. · Pintslitel ei tohi lasta kuivada. Pintslid, käed ja palett pesta seebiveega enne kuivamist. · Mitte segada tärpentiini või õlidega. Kasutada ainult akrüülvärvile mõelduid lisandeid. Akrüülvärve on saadaval tavaliselt kolme erineva katvusega. · OPAQUE (O) täiesti kattev, sarnane tulemus guasile.
tor up with a resistor. When the flag is blocking the sensor, the transistor is off and the output is high. The problem with this approach is that an open or disconnected LED would appear the same to the system as a closed hood. The system might then try to start with the hood open. In a case like this, use a flag that unblocks the sensor when the hood is closed. A bad LED then looks like an open hood and everything is safe. An even safer method would use a flag that had an opaque strip and a translucent strip. When the hood is closed, the opaque strip passes through the sensor first, but when the hood is closed all the way, the translucent strip is blocking the sensor. The system looks for the signal to be completely blocked by the opaque strip, providing an “opaque reference” level. Then it looks for the translucent strip, which only blocks part of the light, giving a partial output. As soon as the signal changes to indicate either the opaque
certified it as accurate." With this check-reading system, "an author might produce a dozen or more copies from a single reading," and with two or more readings, "more than one hundred copies of a single book could easily be produced." Modern paper books are printed on papers which are designed specifically for the publication of printed books. Traditionally, book papers are off white or low white papers (easier to read), are opaque to minimize the show through of text from one side of the page to the other and are (usually) made to tighter caliper or thickness specifications, particularly for case bound books. Typically, books papers are light weight papers 60 to 90 g/m² and often specified by their caliper/substance ratios (volume basis). For example, a bulky 80 g/m² paper may have a caliper of 120 micrometers (0.12 mm) which would be Volume 15 (120×10/80) where as a low bulk 80 g/m² may have a caliper

feet tall. and suppose (4) is true. Now, Albert is unaware that Clemens wrote nov- els and stories under the pen name "Twain." We cannot substitute the term "Mark Twain" for "Samuel Langhorne Clemens" in (4) without chang- ing (4)'s truth-value; the result is a false sentence, since (we may suppose) Albert has seen a photo of Twain and believes that he was of normal height. In W. V. Quine's (1960) terminology, the sentential position occupied by the name in (4) is referentially opaque--"opaque" for short--as opposed to referentially transparent ("opaque" means just that substituting a different singular term into that position may change the truth-value of the containing sentence). What causes the opacity is the "believes that" construction, since the sentence "Samuel Langhorne Clemens was less than 5 feet tall," standing alone, is transparent: If Clemens was less than 5 feet tall, then so of course was Twain, "they" being the very same person.

His secretary stood when he saw his boss's approach, but remained silent when he noted that Cross wasn't alone. "Hold my calls, Scott," Cross said, steering me into his office through the open glass double doors. Despite my irritation, I couldn't help but be impressed with Gideon Cross's spacious command center. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city on two sides, while a wall of glass faced the rest of the office space. The one opaque wall opposite the massive desk was covered in flat screens streaming news channels from around the world. There were three distinct seating areas, each one larger than Mark's entire office, and a bar that showcased jeweled crystal decanters, which provided the only spots of color in a palette that was otherwise black, gray, and white. Cross hit a button on his desk that closed the doors; then another that instantly frosted the
It seemed like a haven, already the closest thing to home I had in this damp green hole. I sat inside for a while, just staring out the windshield blankly. But soon I was cold enough to need the heater, so I turned the key and the engine roared to life. I headed back to Charlie's house, fighting tears the whole way there. 2. OPEN BOOK The next day was better... and worse. It was better because it wasn't raining yet, though the clouds were dense and opaque. It was easier because I knew what to expect of my day. Mike came to sit by me in English, and walked me to my next class, with Chess Club Eric glaring at him all the while; that was nattering. People didn't look at me quite as much as they had yesterday. I sat with a big group at lunch that included Mike, Eric, Jessica, and several other people whose names and faces I now remembered. I began to feel like I was treading water, instead of drowning in it.
