Nobody can win a war

Nobody can win a war. Historically people have always been at war. Everyone had their own reason for a war. One thought, that getting of the worldwide power is the goal of his life, another wanted to get more money, territory or even some kind of revenge. Bur war brings with it human's deaths, innocent victims, hunger, illnesses, violence, distractions etc. Is this worth fighting? On the one hand, there are some people who are able to kill houndreds of innocent victims to make his goal realized, because he has a power and he is allowed to do everything he wants. In addition to that, sometimes people use a war just to justify their revenge, they just use the power, they have, to satisfy own ambitions to feel a win's spirit. So they become winners, but it is only formally. On the other hand, there is only one advantage of a war getting some territory or money, but it has much more disadvantages like violence, distraction, hound...

Nobody can win a war

Nobody can win a war. People started to make a war thousands years ago. During this time they had different purposes, but the final was the same a war caused a great deal of sorrow. But is it worth fighting? Are there any winners or losers in war? Firstly, both sides get bored with a feud. It makes much money, physical and moral strength. Not only soldiers civilian population gets tired of being in a danger and worrying about relatives and friends. Secondly, the consequences of a war are horrible. Terrible memories would not leave people. Every time they recall those events, they suffer again because no one is able to make somebody happy fighting. Thirdly, a lot of people die. Families lose their breadwinners and children become orphans. Moreover, some of them may become homeless, it takes lots of time to rehabilitate and restore cities. Hunger and illnesses make innocent people unhappy. All in all, despite the fact that we live ...

Nobody can win a war

Olari Simson Nobody can win a war Historically people have always been at war. By hook or by crook they fight no matter what is the reason. This is in human natures people need to fight with ohter people. They cannot sit in one place and deal with their own business. Human just need to know everything and be part of it. Is war worth fighthing? Why people just cannot get along with everyone? Human is naturally warrior and human have to be part of everything and when people have not enough of something he need get more of it. Human has always been greedy, always want to be a wealthy and command everyone, but others do not let him do that. People do not let command and force themselves and this is the reason why wars begin. Peoples misunderstanding goes so far, when they tap more powerful and deadful methods. Human nat...

E.Hemingway

had no direct experience of World War I and because he is Jewish. He holds on to the romantic prewar ideals of love and fair play, yet, against the backdrop of the devastating legacy of World War I, these values seem tragically absurd. As a Jew and a nonveteran, Cohn is a convenient target for the cruel and petty antagonism of Jake and his friends. Read an in-depth analysis of Robert Cohn. Bill Gorton - Like Jake, a heavy-drinking war veteran, though not an expatriate. Bill uses humor to deal with the emotional and psychological fallout of World War I. He and Jake, as American veterans, share a strong bond, and their friendship is one of the few genuine emotional connections in the novel. However, Bill is not immune to the petty cruelty that characterizes Jake and Jake's circle of friends. Mike Campbell - A constantly drunk, bankrupt Scottish war veteran. Mike has a terrible temper, which most often manifests itself during his extreme...

THE CAPITALIST NIGER

THE CAPITALIST NIGER Chika Onyeani ………………………Every African must internalise this book - period….DAA INTRODUCTION In October 1960, Nigeria received its independence from Britain. By then, Ghana the former Gold Coast had been independent for three years under the great Osagyefo Kwame Nkumah. It was a time for celebrating Africa’s coming of age, as more and more African countries received their independence either from Britain or France. It was especially a poignant time for Africa, as then British Prime Minister Harold McMillan articulated his now famous “winds of change” sweeping Africa. We had high hopes for Africa, for the Black race, that the insidious imposition of foreign rule on us, the looting of Africa’s natural resources by our colonial masters accorded us would be things of history. That is more than forty years ago. Unfortunately, the promise of independence has not been fulfilled. Today, Africa has become more desolate; th...

TheCodeBreakers

Some of the things you will learn in THE CODEBREAKERS • How secret Japanese messages were decoded in Washington hours before Pearl Harbor. • How German codebreakers helped usher in the Russian Revolution. • How John F. Kennedy escaped capture in the Pacific because the Japanese failed to solve a simple cipher. • How codebreaking determined a presidential election, convicted an underworld syndicate head, won the battle of Midway, led to cruel Allied defeats in North Africa, and broke up a vast Nazi spy ring. • How one American became the world's most famous codebreaker, and another became the world's greatest. • How codes and codebreakers operate today within the secret agencies of the U.S. and Russia. • And incredibly much more. History exam *Stonehenge - is a monument located in England. It is one of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world and is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones. The surrounding circular, earth bank and ditch, have been dated to about 3100 BC. Stonehenge was produced by a culture with no written language. Many aspects of Stonehenge remain subject to debate. There is little or no direct evidence for the construction techniques used by the Stonehenge builders. *The Celts in Britain and their legacy The Cets lived in Britain in The Iron Age. They were warring tribes who were battleful amongst themselves as well as inter-tribal war. They were not centrally governed. The Celts brought iron working, iron ploughs and metal swords, horses, wheels and chariots - all these things gave them an instant superiority over the native tribes. The Celts built a number ...

Education

Education Education is so multifaceted that it is difficult for me to know where to begin discussing it, or how to prioritize the many factors. Relaying my own experience is easy: I had a standard classroom approach, supplemented by inordinate reading. In only the briefest and least memorable instances did I receive any individual tutoring. Education is commonly thought of as the job of schools. Adults cry "educate our children!" Everyone has opinions about the best way to do the job. It is of urgent importance, and all the numerous factors are much studied, debated, and new (or old) ideas continually tested or retested. Some people say "it's as simple as . . . " and then name their pet peeve or passion. My view is not of an education specialist, but of one who loves sharing what I learn, and owes much to educators. Since I don't have an educational theory neatly worked-out, nor an outline of my perceptions, my intent is to addr...

Mina istu...

ARMASTUS ! Sa ütled, et armastad mind, ma uskusin, kuid enam ei usu, sest see ütleb teeb mulle haiget. On sul nüüd kergem, kui said mulle haiget teha? Mu armastuse garantii on igavene. Jumal andis meile kaks silma et näha, kaks kõrva et kuulda, kaks kätt et tunda, kuid miks andis Jumal meile ühe südame?Sellepärast, et teise me ise ülesse leiaks. lase end õhku, õhus on armastus! Väiksena mängisin tikkudega, sain vastu sõrmi, kuna see pidi valus olema, nüüd aga mängisin armastusega, isegi kui keegi ei keelanud oli see siiski valus.
