Being their second album, A rush of blood to the head was released in 2002. The album has several popular singles such as "In My Place", "Clocks", and the ballad "The Scientist." It also won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2003 Grammy Awards. This is my favourite CD, because you forget everything that surrounds you while you listen to it. Chris martin has a powerful voice and the overall sound is flawless. The songs contain lush melodies and they are really relaxing. The band's music is also meditative and it reflects on their emotions. The lyrics of their songs are very thought-provoking and the most important thing is that they are meaningful. You start to think differently when you have delved into them. I strongly recommend this CD and this band to everyone who wants to relax and enjoy good music. This band is really worth listening to.
hits including seven consecutive No. 1 U.S. albums, 59 Top 40 singles, 16 Top 10, four No. 2 hits, and nine No. 1 hits. He has won five Grammy awards and one Academy Award. His success has had a profound impact on popular music and has contributed to the continued popularity of the piano in rock and roll. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him #49 on their list of the 100 greatest artists of all time. Some of the characteristics of John's musical talent include an ability to quickly craft melodies for the lyrics of songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, his former rich tenor (now baritone) voice, his classical and gospel-influenced piano, the aggressive orchestral arrangements of Paul Buckmaster among others and the flamboyant fashions, outlandishly excessive eyeglasses, and on-stage showmanship, especially evident during the 1970s. John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. He has been heavily
Music Is My Passion Music is one of the most important and powerful things in my life. My life without melodies and harmonies would be totally empty. Listening to and playing different tunes helps me to relax and it can also help to motivate me in trying things. I love listening to music while on my way to school, as I feel it helps me to prepare for the day that waits. Music gets me back to my greatest memories. Mostly summer memories, they're the best.

to help you, when everyone else turn their back. Music is something that can light up the worst day. Music is filled with many feelings, many words and a lot of soul. Music is like a good friend who is always there. If a soul is filled with hate, music is the one to answer with raw, aggressive and straight forward sound. When the mood seems hopeless, it's music that surprisingly lifts the corners of your mouth with it's swinging and rhythmic melodies. If you are feeling down, then it's the music, like mother's soft fondle, that gently cheers you up without any questions. Just like music, also the art of movies has a impressive ability to sneak into people's head, heart and soul. Actors, like all the people, are mortals. But their played characters live on even after them. There is many inspiring movies and even more played characters that have given bravery when it has been fading away.

Byroni teostes kajastub maailmavalu, kui ta tunneb rõõmu loodusest ja seal toimuvast. At this time, Bach was embarking on the serious composition of organ preludes; these works, in the North German tradition of virtuosic, improvisatory preludes, already showed tight motivic control (in which a single, short music idea is explored cogently throughout a movement). However, in these works the composer had yet to fully develop his powers of large-scale organisation and his contrapuntal technique (in which two or more melodies interact simultaneously). Strong family connections and a musically enthusiastic employer failed to prevent tension between the young organist and the authorities after several years in the post. He was apparently dissatisfied with the standard of singers in the choir; more seriously, there was his unauthorised absence from Arnstadt for several months in 170506, when he visited the great master Dieterich Buxtehude and his Abendmusik in the northern city of Lübeck
1813-1818 Childe Harold's Pilgrimage a partly autobiographical narrative poem that describes the travels and reflections of a world-weary young man who, disillusioned with a life of pleasure and revelry, looks for distraction in foreign lands; in a wider sense, it is an expression of the melancholy and disillusionment felt by a generation weary of the wars of the post-Revolutionary and Napoleonic eras. 1813 The Giaour; The Bride of Abydos 1814 The Corsair; Lara 1815 Hebrew melodies 1816 Parisina; The Prisoner of Chillon; The Dream; Prometheus; Darkness 1817 Manfred-a ghost story; The Lament of Tasso 1818 Beppo 1819 Mazeppa; The Prophecy of Dante 1820 Marino Faliero 1821 Sardanapalus; The Two Foscari; Cain 1819-1824 Don Juan a long, digressive satiric poem, based on the legend of Don Juan, which Byron reverses, portraying Juan as someone who is easily seduced by women. of the Roses. Music Music was an essential part of civic, religious, and courtly life in the Renaissance. The rich interchange of ideas in Europe, as well as political, economic, and religious events in the period 14001600 led to major changes in styles of composing, methods of disseminating music, new musical genres, and the development of musical instruments. The most important music of the early Renaissance was composed for use by the church--polyphonic (made up of several simultaneous melodies) masses and motets in Latin for important churches and court chapels. By the end of the sixteenth century, however, patronage was split among many areas: the Catholic Church, Protestant churches and courts, wealthy amateurs, and music printing-- all were sources of income for composers. Literature Printing press: William Caxton was the person who introduced printing in England. Before that, the books were written out in longhand, what meant a very slow jog. With the printing ,
The ancient Estonian runic song stood quite apart from the European tradition: the core consisting of one-two phrases in small diapason (up to 5-6 tones), recitative performance, slow movements, a governing epic-lyrical mood with mostly stable rhythmic patterns, as a rule usually sung by women in one voice. In the second half of the 19th century Estonian folk song and folk poetry were displaying novel features. The end rhyme became dominant and previous archaic melodies were substituted by more lively tunes sometimes reproducing features from German and Swedish music. After the Great Northern War in 1721 Estonia became part of the Russian Empire; though Estonians had lived as the serfs of the Baltic-German nobility since the 16th century, they would remain serfs until 1816 when serfdom in Estonia was abolished by the Russian tsarist government. The Baltic Germans retained their upper
Many ceremonies act out events from the Dreamtime. Many of the ceremonies are sacred and people from outside a community are not permitted to participate or watch. The Australian Aborigines used a limited variety of implements to make musical sounds. The didgeridoo (wind instrument a bit like trumpet) is probably the best known, but others included rattles, clapping sticks and two boomerangs clapped together. However they do not appear to have used drums, flutes and whistles. The melodies, tunes, harmonies and rhythms of Aboriginal music included traditional ceremonial songs that were handed down from generation to generation. It was very important in Aboriginal thinking, to replicate the songs that had been first played and sung by the ancestors in the Dreamtime. When the traditional music and songs were used, living men considered themselves to be in the Dreamtime. Particularly during initiation ceremonies. However 'new songs' were created from time to time
Martin's lyrical wordplay has been called feminist, similar to Andrew Montgomery of Geneva. They have described their music as "very heavy soft rock" on their Myspace page. The tone of the band's first studio album, Parachutes, was described as melodic pop with "distorted guitar riffs and swishing percussion". It was also described as being "exquisitely dark and artistically abrasive". In a review for A Rush of Blood to the Head, the songs were considered to contain "lush melodies and a heartbreak" and that they had a "newfound confidence." The music on X&Y has been considered to be "ruminations on Martin's doubts, fears, hopes, and loves." 22 On öeldud, et Liszt nagu Brahmski kirjutas enda arvates muusikat, mis oli Ungari päritolu, kuid osutus siiski mustlasmuusikaks (Miller et al 2006: 284).
snipped off December 6 and opened out into the first hours of December 7, the Pearl Harbor strike force received Tokyo's relay of Yoshikawa's final message. The American ships were still in harbor, awaiting the ax stroke with fat complacency. They were apparently not even protected by air search. Was it all a decoy? The strike force's radio officer, Commander Kanjiro Ono, listened intently to Honolulu's radio station KGMB for any inkling that the Americans knew of them. He heard only the soft melodies of the islands. On Hiryu, the flight deck officer slipped bits of paper between each plane's radio transmitter key and its contact point to make sure that radio silence, so carefully preserved for almost two weeks, would not be accidentally broken in the last few hours to destroy the element of surprise. As Yoshikawa's final report was being decoded aboard Akagi, Kramer returned to the Navy Department he had left only seven hours before, and began working again
