Dear Ann, I am writing to you from my new house, that I just moved in yesterday. The house really looks fantastic, it is surrounded with a luxuriant garden. And it's a quiet area, but the best thing about it is that it is less that kilometer from the city center. Inside, the house is nice and comfortable. It has two floors. On the ground floor there is bed-rooms, a living-room, a bathroom with a shower, a dinning-room, a kitchen and a toilet. It is air-conditioned and well-furnished. The living-room is decorated beautifully. Paintings by famous artists are hung on the walls. Upstairs there is my own huge bedroom and bathroom. I hope I'll see you here soon, darling! Yours sincerely, Katrin Agejeva
My ideal home My homeland is so important to me, that if I could choose any place in the world to live in, I'd still choose Estonia. My perfect home can only be in here, where my family and friends are. In Estonia, where are swmaps and pine-wood, sandy beaches, blue sky and big fileds, where are people who i know and the place where i feel in home My perfect home is located outside of Tallinn, in the midst of nature. It is a two story house with a red roof and the house is surrounded by big white fence. Stepping into the garden, you can notice a cobblestoned road, which takes you to the door. Beside the road are planted little red flowers and the garden is covered with green grass. From afar you can see a sauna house, and it has also a red roof. There you can enjoy the sauna and after that you can sit in the soft sofa, relax and chat with friends in anteroom. Beside the saunahouse there is a gr...
My dream home My dream home would be a beautiful two-storey detached house in a small town. The house is surrounded by a nice garden full of gorgeous plants and a lot of types of flowers. I would also hire a gardener, so I can have time for my other duties. There are many spacious rooms in my house that are in well-lit and pastel tones. There are a living room, a kitchen and lightly coloured guest room on the ground floor. On the first floor there is also a living room, two nurseries, a toilet and a study with a bookshelf that covers the entire wall. I would hang pictures of my travelles on the walls, so it's easier to talk about my trips to my friends and family. As I'm the quiet type I would like to have the house in the suburbs. I think it would be nice if it were to be a gated community.

“To Room Nineteen” “To room nineteen” is considered to be one of the best short stories by Doris Lessing. The book takes place in a mid-twentieth century in London suburb. It gives insight about women’s rights and London society on these days. Showes how the perfect lives as they seemed from outside, acctually weren’t that ideal on the inside. The book itself is about a middle-aged woman, Susan, whose life is spinning around her four children, ideal husband and lovely home. Everything seems to be just perfect. When the youngest child went off to school, the seeming peace in this family is soon gone. Susan didn’t find the sense of freedom that she expected. She started thinking about herself she lost in her marriege life and was filled with emotions that were not inherent to her.. As she discovered that it was housework, children and husband, that made her lose her self-identity, she stared to hate everythin...
My Ideal House My ideal house would be a modern detached or semi-detached one. I don't know which of them yet because both points have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, detached house is great for privacy, but could become a little lonely on your own, whereas semi-detached house will offer you an opportunity to be friends with your neighbor. However, you never know who they might be they might throw dance parties in their house or be annoying in some other way. For the location, I would prefer residential area it would be nice and peaceful there. In addition to this, civilization and neighbors are close in case I needed them. My ideal house would be a spacious one. I would like three or four bedrooms, if that would be possible. One of them would be master bedroom, another one would be for guests and the remaining one or two would be nurseries. I would also want my house to have...
Dear......, Thank you for your letter. It was nice to hear from you. I am writing to inform you that I have already found a very nice house where you can spend your summer holiday. Also, the house is located near the Comarket and behind the park. So it does not take much time to go to the shop and you have a very good opportunity to go jogging in the morning. Further, the rent is not expensive, only 800£ a month. Secondly, the house is very nice and spacious. It is a new stone building house or as the owner calls it, a castle. You do not have to worry about furnish, because it is fully- furnished. It has 2 floors and it contains 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Some people say that children should be given a chance to solve their problems on their own. Some people say that parents should make all their children’s decisions until the children are 18. By the law of our country, parents have the right to make important decisions about their children's lives. Parental obligations end when a child reaches the age of majority, which is 18 years old. Until that, parents are free to make all decisions relating to the welfare of their child as they see fit. Because of that law, some people say that parents should make all their children’s decisions until the children are 18. However, other people say that children should be given a chance to solve their problems on their own. There are parents who prefer to make all decisions for their kids. Some of them do it because they are afraid to see their child suffering through setbacks, oth...
Home alone Ella was left all alone in the mansion. She hated that but since she was only seventeen her opinion was often unheard. Nobody cared that she hadn't even wanted to move there. A big house with three storeys and an attic is usually the place where all scary movies take place and she knew that. Ella was feeling terrified. She was on the ground floor, in the living room. It wasn't exactly the best place to be in, since the walls of the room were covered with old paintings of men with harrowing looks in their eyes, eyes that seemed to be moving. But she couldn't move. The thought of being anywhere, closer to the attic made her faint. Ella was sitting on the couch and listening to her favourite song, trying not to hear the howling wind and the baying of distant dogs outside. The volume was set almost unbearably loud because she knew that all scary movies started with the main character he...

I was 5 years old, just learned to ride a bike, and as most of kids at the same age, so do i wanted a new bike. One day that my mother came to brought me home from kindergarten, we went home, and i was very surprised when i saw brand new bike standing at living room. DAYDREAM I was kayaking across the ocean, when I realised I had come to a foreign land. Upon reaching the shore, I got out of my kayak and went exploring… I was walking on the beach when I suddenly noticed a tiny house in the middle of nowhere. The windows were broken and the door was open. It was made of wood and in a really bad condition. I saw the smoke coming from the chimney. I walked, scared, towards the tiny house, I was afraid to go in but I still entered. The house was really dusty. I was looking around, when suddenly a door appeared. I opened it and i was pulled in. The stair steps appeared one after another. I was really confused and at that moment I wished I had never got out of my kayak. I was walking down, when suddenly the stair steps started to get warmer and warmer. My legs couldn’t handle the heat, so I started running. The steps behind me began to explode and I ran f...

What is the best age to be? The question we all may ask ourselves time and time again. What is the best age to be? In my opinion there is not a best age and because of that is a question that will always be left unanswered. The life span approach emphasizes developmental change is throughout adulthood as well as childhood. As a 18 year old female I cannot really choose a specific age group that would be best in the life in every aspect, because I have not yet reached certain age periods of my life span development. All ages have great and bad things. When you are a child your freedom is limited and it mostly depends on your parents´ mood at that time. Some examples like where you have to be home at 9.00pm and no TV until you´ve cleaned your room. Also then you have problems, but only the ones generated at school. Childhood has many responsibilities, some we like, some we have to do and some we despise. Responsibilities some of us en...
In the future i would like to have a perfect family. My perfect family would be composed by children who are healthyminded and a man who is a good father and right for our family. Also, we would have a house that we could live in comfortably. The house would be just out of town, where nature thrives and also have a beautiful view of the coast. In the house there could be living room where the children can play different games when their friends would visit us. I would prefer to have a big garden for hosting bbq and taking sunbaths in the summer. I would llike to have 2 children, and i dont mind whether they are boys or girls because the most important thing for my children is that they are healthy. I would like my children to be courteous and have lots of hobbys. The man I marry should love his family. He would never have another lover and hurt me and my children. I would also like to have a job that I enjoy. As i li...
Essay about Food Inc. Food Inc. is a 2008 American documentary film directed by filmmaker Robert Kenner. Food Inc. is about corporate farming in the United States, where farms produce food that is unhealthy, in a way that is environmentally harmful and abusive of both animals and employees. The main problem is how the animals are raised, how they are slaughtered and how the meat is manufactured. Farms are controlled by big food industries. Cows are fed corn instead of grass, because corn is cheeper and makes cows obese more quickly. Because of the unhealthy environment animals are raised in, they get infected with salmonella and coliform bacteria. A Modern Answer to the Commune By: Penelope Green Johanna Bronk wants to make communal vegetarian meals and keep chickens. Mariel Berger hopes for social, artistic and political collaborations. Harmony Hazard is into hula hooping, book groups and anarchism. Oh, to be a young city-dweller in search of a house share. Finding a roommate has never been easy, but for some, the endeavor has lately assumed all the urgency, emotion and extreme specificity of shopping for a life partner. Last month, just in time for leases to turn over, the housing portion of Craigslist, the uber-community bulletin board and road map to the 20-something's psyche, featured dozens of impassioned tone poems, vivid personal biographies and ideological wish lists. Unfettered by space restrictions -- since Craigslist is free and space on the Internet is boundless, the word count of housing posts can stretch into the thousands, and some do -- and...
Merde Actually By Stephen Clarke "Merde Actually" is written by Stephen Clarke, who is a British journalist and a novelist living in Paris. When he first arrived in Paris, he experienced a cultural shock and got inspired by it. He started to keep a diary of his experiences and decided to publish it as a novel when the Anglo-French relationships were at their worst during the Iraq War spring 2003. Therefore his novels (he has written three in this series) have become enormously popular all around the world, especially because they are partly true. Stephen Clarke himself still lives in Paris with his French girlfriend. This novel is considered to be seriously funny and a comedy with a message. "Merde Actually" has one main character whose name is Paul West, but there are also many other significant characters, that come from the previous book "A Year in...
Captain Walton's introductory frame narrative The novel Frankenstein is written in epistolary form, documenting a correspondence between Captain Robert Walton and his sister, Margaret Walton Saville. Walton is a failed writer who sets out to explore the North Pole and expand his scientific knowledge in hopes of achieving fame. During the voyage the crew spots a dog sled mastered by a gigantic figure. A few hours later, the crew rescues a nearly frozen and emaciated man named Victor Frankenstein. Frankenstein starts to recover from his exertion; he sees in Walton the same over-ambitiousness and recounts a story of his life's miseries to Walton as a warning. Victor Frankenstein's narrative Victor begins by telling of his childhood. Born into a wealthy family in Geneva, he is encouraged to seek a greater understanding of the world around him through science. H...
Space exploration should be a priority Since the beginning of time people have wondered about what's really hidden behind the clouds and what goes on there. Before people had the technology to study space, they tried to make sense of the universe with the help of religion. Luckily thanks to the great interest in the subject, the first manned spaceflight happened on April 12, 1961 by the Soviet Union, with cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin aboard. Travelling in space could become very important and useful for people on earth in case something happens to our planet. Many things could happen since humans are taking advantage of earth's natural resources like oil and building dangerous factories that produce toxic waste. With space travel we could find planets that have the material to replace our resources and maybe get rid of the toxic waste we no longer have room here. Besides that, a war could break out involving ...
Kalamaja. The theatre performs both world classics and modern drama. It often shines the spotlight on new Estonian productions. Performances are given in different venues, and there is an outdoor stage for summer plays. Lai 23 is a typical merchant`s house in the Late Gothic style. It is a two-room building, the so- called diele-dornse house, in which a vestibule diele is a bigger room at the street side and a smaller living-room dornse stands behind it in the depth of the yard. 6 The central room in the house's street side part was a large, high-ceilinged entrance hall with a small kitchen under a mantle chimney. This type of chimney was unique to medieval homes, with a bottom section that widened to create a square space that would define the outlines of the small kitchen beneath it. The house also had one heated living room and several unheated rooms, basement rooms, and rooms upstairs for the storage of
Dear Mr Roberts I am writing to express my concern about the closing of the art studio and to bring out reasons why the art studio should be left open. Firstly, there are teachers at the studio, who offer tutoring for many artists. Furthermore, there are lots of necessary facilities. In addition, as the studio is located in an easily accessible area and opened around-the-clock, it is irreplaceable for lots of students. Moreover, young talents can exhibit their creations in the studio. In conclusion, it can be clearly seen that the art studio is important for many young artists, therefore we do not hesitate to even organise a protest march against closing the studio. I hope that the art department agrees and will not close donw the art studio. Yours sincerely, Mari Mets ESSAY Choices after secondary school Many young people decide to go univeristy after secondary school, while others think that...
