To Be Human Is To Discuss Why My Speech Is So Short Most of the students complain about their timetable. Usually they are just fine, but the grass is always greener somewhere else, am I right? But for me and my class, it's a different story. The grass really is greener anywhere else, actually. Why do we go to school? Do we actually want to learn? I think not. Maybe on some level, until fourth grade or something like that, but most of us are in high school to get good grades, so that parents don't kick us out and still give us food and shelter. How to motivate ourselves to come here every single morning and really study, not just sit with your phone out and watch videos or do something not related to studying to keep from dying of boredom? There are usually better schools and universities are founded in cities, too. On the other hand are cities pretty noisy, therefore it can create a restless environment for concentrated studying. A big advantage of living in a city is the variety of entertainment concerts, theatres, cinemas, restaurants and cafes, nightclubs and so on. However, in the countryside people can enjoy the silence and relax without paying any money. Also, in the countryside the environment is much greener and cleaner as in the cities the air is more polluted, which can damage our health. Living in a city, people have much better accessibility for things in need, like food, medications etc., because important industries and shopping centres are usually close to the consumers. Whether one likes a fast living rhythm and to socialize or a peaceful and clean environment choosing a living place is totally up to the persons preferences.
Humans are changeing the planet with their ordinary life. The principle cause of climate change is the increase in carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere. The main cause of that is the burning of fossile fuels. This is leading to the global warming. People have discovered a way to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. It is possible to seperate the CO2 from the other gases by adding liquid which is very good at absorbing CO2. Then it can be pumped to underground. Scientist came up with this idea because methane gas has been down there for thousands of years and it has not come up. So they expect that the CO2 won't be coming up either. To be sure of that, they are coing to make a test and drill two wells to take purified CO2, inject it into the ground and monitor the physical changes that CO2 undergoes. This technology is really new and it is unknown to people. It has not been proven yet, so people are scared and concerned...

I've always imagined what the 70's would have looked like and I've even dreamed of living in that time. And now I finally got to see and feel it. I wasn't quite sure where would The Machine bring me, but luckily it worked perfectly and brought me into the New York City. I think that it somehow works on the power of mind and it gets you exactly where and when you want to be. I didn't know where to go or what to do, so I whistled, like they do in the movies, and took a cab. I asked the driver just to drive me around the city and show me what's good around there.
