Red Nose Day · What is it? Red Nose Day is a fundraising event organised by Comic Relief · When is it? On the second or third Friday of March · Why that date? The first Red Nose Day (RND) was held on the 5th Feburary 1988, when it was launched as a National Day of Comedy, and since then they have been on the second or third Friday of March · What happens? Having fun and changing lives. Everyone has a laught whilst raising money to help change cauntless lives aacross the UK and Africa.

Changing the world does not happen overnight, but it would not happen by not making an effort either. “When the whole world is silent, even once voice becomes powerful.” These strong words said by 16-year-old education activist Malala Yousafzai have had a big impact on people that have doubted themselves about for example starting a fundraising event or listing up as a volunteer to help people that cannot get proper education. People are often afraid of the consequences, if their attempt at enforcing change goes wrong. They are scared that they will be laughed at or talked about. There are millions of people behind us too shy to take a stand or maybe they do not have the resources so people in developed countries should speak up for them.
