This standard essentially states that the methane content must be higher than 95% and also sets limits for dew point, sulphur content and some other minor constituents. Upgrading of biogas is a relatively new technology but experience from Sweden and other countries shows that it is possible now to upgrade biogas with high reliability and at reasonable costs.
