3. Koertekatk Koertekatk (inglise keeles canine distemper) on väga nakkav ning raske kuluga viirushaigus, mis ründab seedesüsteemi, hingamisteid ning kesknärvisüsteemi. Surma põhjuseks on närvisüsteemikahjustus ja sellest tingitud tüsistused nagu näiteks krambid või halvatus. Koerte katku põhjustab koerte katku viirus, mis olles üheahelaline RNA viirus kuulub Morbilliviiruste sugukonda. (Lempp jt., 2014) Infektsiooni kliiniline pilt on väga varieeruv. Esmane sümptom, kehatemperatuuri tõus, ei ole spetsiifiline
