Character reference (soovituskiri)

I am very pleased to write a character reference for (name) I have known (name) since (date). I clearly remember the first time I met her. She was very friendly towards everyone and that really gave me a good impression of her. And even now I think she is a very joyful and lovely person, who cares for others as much as for herself. During these two and a half months I have known (name), she has always been very hard-working and extremely passionate about everything she does. She is strong-willed and if she somehow doesn't succeed in something, she tries again and again until she does. (name) is also very committed to her education and very industrious. Her favourite subjects are math and Estonian. I would certainly recommend (name) for any position where hard-working, passionate and co- operative people are valued. Sincerely, (signature, name)

Mary is packed off to join Puritans headed to the New World. While they search for religious freedom, Mary searches for a fresh start and a chance to live a life untainted by the suspicion of witchcraft. She is informally adopted by good friends who accept her strong-willed nature and and knowledge of herbs, medicines, and midwifery. To escape the oppressive atmosphere of the village and the stringent Puritan expectations, Mary retreats to the woods where she befriends a local Native American boy. birth to Tweety and four other beautiful bunnies. Tweety´s life was difficult for him from the very beginning. He was the weakest of the litter, and his mother refused to nurse him. Seeing how small and sickly he was, the caregivers started feeding him special baby food. Soon Tweety began to grow strong, and his motehr accepted him as her own. When winter arrived, however, Tweety became ill again - this time with pneumonia. Incredibly strong-willed, Tweety recovered quickly from pneumonia but just a few days later he was injured in a fight with another rabbit and had to go to the vet. With time the injury healed and Tweety enjoyed many happy days playing and relacing with friends. One day the caregivers found Tweety looking very sick again. They rushed him to the hospital where the vets said Tweety would need blood from another rabbit to survive.

Administration of estate In her will, Monroe left Lee Strasberg 75 percent of the residuary of the estate. She expressed her desire that Strasberg, or, if he predeceased her, her executor, "distribute [her personal effects] among my friends, colleagues and those to whom I am devoted."[45] Strasberg willed his portion to his widow, Anna. She declared she would never sell Monroe's personal items after successfully suing Odyssey Auctions in 1994 to prevent the sale of items which were withheld by Monroe's former business manager, Inez Melson. However, in October 1999 Christie's auctioned the bulk of the items Monroe willed to Strasberg, netting US $13,405,785. The gathering feminist movement very much disagreed, and argued that women's writing expressed a distinctive female consciousness, which was more discursive and conjunctive than its male counterpart. Such consciousness was radically different, and had been adversely treated. Simone de Beauvoir in The Second Sex documented the ways "Legislators, priests, philosophers, writers and scientists have striven to show that the subordinate position of women is willed in heaven and advantageous on earth." Women had been made to feel that they were inferior by nature and, though men paid lip-service to equality, they would resist its implementation. Some men might be sympathetic to women's issues, but only women themselves knew what they felt and wanted. Nonetheless, by the early eighties, feminists had advanced to a much more confrontational attack on male hegemony, advocating a complete overthrow of the biased (male) canon of literature.

The work, standing in close relation to life, bears at the same time a stamp of introspection. The music is tonal and functional connections between separate sections are obvious. The main theme of the first movement is snappy, strong-willed, in fighting trim: Example 163. The subsidiary theme is silently pensive and hopeful: Example 164. The first theme of the second movement is exposed as yearning and mild, similar to a folk melody. The second epic theme is confined to oboe: Example 166. The Fugue has been built up in conformity with classical principles. The five- voiced texture has been shaped in the exposition. Several sound pictures are added to the theme

Elizabeth had frequently united with Jane in an endeavour to check the imprudence of Catherine and Lydia; but while they were supported by their mother's indulgence, what chance could there be of improvement? Catherine, weak-spirited, irritable, and completely under Lydia's guidance, had been always affronted by their advice; and Lydia, self-willed and careless, would scarcely give them a hearing. They were ignorant, idle, and vain. While there was an officer in Meryton, they would flirt with him; and while Meryton was within a walk of Longbourn, they would be going there forever. Anxiety on Jane's behalf was another prevailing concern; and Mr. Darcy's explanation, by restoring Bingley to all her former good opinion, heightened the sense of what Jane had lost
