Preserving sugar- Preserving sugar on Inglismaal kasutatav jämedate kristallidega suhkur, mida kiire ja jäägitu lahustumise tõttu kasutatakse hoidiste keetmisel. Pärlsuhkur- Pärlsuhkur (Soome raesokeri ehk rahesuhkur) saadakse tükksuhkru valmistamisel tekkinud ebakorrapärase kujuga jääkide purustamisel. Osa pärlsuhkrust värvitakse kirjuks. Kasutatakse küpsetiste ja magusroogade kaunistamiseks, kuid erinevalt kristallsuhkruga kaunistamisest valgusefekti ei teki.
