My Dream Wedding

My Dream Wedding Something old , something new , something borrowed , something blue...my dream wedding. I would like to wear Pnina Tornai sweetheart mermaid gown in silk organza . Bridesmaid dresse would be Royal blue and flower girl dress would be pink with diamonds. Most of the times wedding themes are very boring , I would like my wedding to take place munder water. Submarine would be an interesting place. I dream of marrying at around 24 or 25 . Althought I do have some ideas about how HE should look like , about HIS personality , I am not going to write it down , it brings bad luck. Whoever and wherever the young man is , I definitely love HIM more than my own life. Everything has to be perfekt. Another dream of mine- a professional photographer in my wedding. I would also like a candlelit dinner. It is just so romantik . A candelelit dinner is something invitably ends in teras. There should be...

Favorite family member

Favourite family member My most favourite family member is my younger sister. I really can't choose anyone else because I spend the most time with her I could have chosen my little brother but he is too annoying. I like my sister the most because she knows me the best and she knows when to stay away from me when I need my space, but also when I need someone to talk to then I can just easily talk to her and I can trust her with my secrets. I know when I talk to her about some kind of problems she is always there for me and atleast tries to help me out even when there is nothing to help with. From time to time we fight but have you ever heard of sisters who don't have their differences but we resolve them quite fast that sometimes we even forget why we were fighting at the first place

Before I go to sleep by S.J Watson

Book review I am reading a book called ,,Before I go to sleep" by S.J Watson. This book has 384 pages and I have read 50 of them. The book is about Christine, who loses her memory when she goes to sleep and has to start afresh every time she wakes up. It's quite hard seeing it through her own eyes as each day she wakes up and can't figure out where she is. Everything has to be explained to her by a man who tries to persuade her that he's her husband. She begins to keep a journal, writing down what happens to her each day as recommended by her doctor who calls her each day to remind her of her journal and where it's hidden. Each day she reads what's previously written in her journal, and is extremely confused as she can never remember the previous entries. I think that in the end of the book Christine will get her memory back, and she will realize that her husbend Ben is bad guy. I hope that they will devorce and Christine will find some...

What are the most needed professions in the 21st century?

In my opinion the second most needed profession is a really good goverment employee. Estonians want some changes in their lives. Our goverment employees only think about earning more money. The third most needed professions is actually needed the most, it's connected with computers, as I first mentioned. More growing computer using and replacing jobs with robots and computer programmes leave some people without jobs. That's why people need to know more and more about computers. Companies need someone to look after the computers and they also need computer repairmen who know how to fix computers. There are viruses in the computers and hackers who try to brake in the computers and every companies computers need to be protected. I guess that the most needed professions in our country are the same in other developed countries. As you may have noticed, all the countries have needs for the same professions, actually. I think that younger people need to know how to use newer

We live in a constantly changing world - essee

people become sick and on and on the world goes. On the one hand the world we are living in is amazing, because science, medicine, technology, and so on are advancing at an ever-increasing pace. It has made our lives much easier than it was 100 years ago. For example we have phones, television, fast cars, eco towns, highrise buildings and so on. But on the other hand the world can also be frightful. People are starving, and do not have water to drink nor wash themselves. But somewhere someone has unlimited food and water and never thinks about those people who are in need. Due to the over consumption of water, gas, wood et cetera, we might be in a lack of mineral resources in the future. And if they run out, we need to find an alternative variant. Already today we have places on Earth were there are no clean water and fresh air. People are already trying to make the world a better place to live in but there are also people who still do not do anything to achieve it

Buying on credit

Buying on credit A credit card is a great way to cover one`s expenses when the next paycheck hasn`t arrived yet. Such kind of activity is the most popular in the Unites States of America. Advertisers always praise how buying on credit is beneficial but people also need to get familiar with it`s disadvantages. First of the various utilities is space savings. It is very easy to carry on credit card in a purse because it takes less room than a bundle of dollar bills. Secondly, when we lose cash then it´s permanently gone but in case of missing credit card it is possible to cancel the bank account. Another important benefit is ability to handle expenses that might be out of one´s reach. In case of an emergency, such as car breakdown or illness, it is very useful. Despite of great advantages, people should keep in mind it`s downsides. A credit card leads people to unresponsible spending. Buying good...

The Advantages and Disadvanatges of Having a Part Time Job

Generally speaking, students can benefit a lot from part-time jobs. The first advantage is that students can earn money. Earning money by themselves is good way to learn how to be independent. Students don't have to ask money from the parents and they can see that earning money is not so easy. Second advantage is that students can acquire more experiences and polish their skills when taking part-time jobs. For example, if someone enjoys teaching, working part-time as a tutor may help him or her improve teaching skills and gain experiences. There are some disadvantages, too. First of all, it is the lack of time for focus on studies. There is very big problem that students can't find time for studying. It is obvious that if you have a job, you automatically have less time to do the rest. As a result, they get exhausted, and even skip classes to have a sleep after hard work. In conclusion, nothing is perfect

Lying is a natural and inevitable part of any good relationship

Lying is a natural and inevitable part of any good relationship Most relationship experts note honesty as number one requirement to have a happy and successful relationship. Somehow many people seem to disagree. After all, if it was all that simple, why would anyone lie? Don't they want to be happy? Perhaps reality is not that straightforward. Sometimes telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is the worst thing to be done. From time to time truth can be hurtful. Noone wants to hear that they look exceptionally bad today, especially when they really do. A little fiction can save the day for everyone. Furthermore truth can be so complicated that noone really knows , what is real and what is not. Particularly when it concernes human emotions. There is no certainity, everything changes in time, and what is said genuinely today may become a lie tomorrow. People can be upset, sad or angry and say somethi...

The effects of mobile phones on our lives

The effects of mobile phones on our lives Can you imagine our comfortable life without mobile phones? Wherever we go, we can see someone talking with their mobile phone. Mobile phones have become an indispensable part of our everyday life. Yet, have the changes they brought about really been for the better? To begin with, the benefits of mobile phones cannot be denied. On the one hand mobile phones are extremely useful communication tool. Mobile phones can help us wherever we need it. For example in an emergency, we may need help and mobile phone is a quick way to call for help. In addition mobile phones can be used for several tasks. For instance, if we want something to be captured we can use our mobile phones. They are equipped with a camera in consequence we can take pictures and videos and later watch them on our computer. Muusikal "Chess"

Alice from Through the Looking-Glass

I'm Alice, seven years and six months old and very good at daydreaming. I think so because my favourite phrase, that I use very often, is ,, Let's pretend" whether it is about pretending that Kitty is a chess pawn or that I'm going through the looking-glass. I always take my best friends, Snowbell, Dina and Kitty, with me to my quests but they seem to appear as someone else so I usually recognise them only later. But it doesn't matter. They're my best friends in the real world and I talk to them all the time. I think my characteristics come out the best during my dreams. For example I am very curious and I never settle with what's right in front of me. I always want to see more and to do that you also have to be very determined and brave. I wanted to see more from the Looking-Glass

And I think that it is bad to share too much personal information online. You will never know who might abuse it and how it's done. There is a lot of anonymity online. That's a danger too because it seems that you can say everything and there will be no punishment but actually it is not like that at all. If there is insulting or threatening online there is a way to find out who did it. There are many children online. So they are threatened too. There are many predators who might claim to be someone that they are not and make friends with children. Then when children trust them they might make them send inappropriate pictures or what's even worse meet them. Also one must think where he does his e-banking and other personal things. I would not recommend public Wifi places, because they are not very safe. Everyone who are a little bit more hands on with computer can hack in to your computer and get your passwords etc. So,

Its better to have any religion then to be atheist

According to this many people decided not to have any religion at all and called themselves ,,atheists". These people believe in their own physical and moral forces only, but now and here i will try to persuade the reader that having a God or some deity is better than to be godless. First reason, why it is better to be a religous person than atheist, is your spiritual and mental safety because if you belive in God , you will always have someone to rely on even in the worst situations, and you will never give up as you would probably do, if you stayed against the misery alone, on your own. Secondly, i would like to point out that with having a God to believe in your everyday life becomes easier because you are not afraid of being killed or whatever due to your belief in fate. Also you think that He/She rules your life, and everything that happens , happens for better so

Halloween

Halloween Halloween is a holiday in many English speaking countries that is celebrated on the night of October 31st. Children wear costumes and they go to peoples' homes saying "Trick or treat!" to ask for candy, sweets. This practice originally involved a threat. A threat is when someone says that they will do something bad if they do not get what they want. In this case the threat could be explained as: "Give me a treat or I will play a trick on you." Children today usually do not play tricks if they do not get treats. However, some children still get up to mischief (pranks or things to make fun of people; like putting toilet paper in trees; writing on windows with soap or throwing eggs at peoples' houses).

Beauty pageants for small girls should be banned

Beauty pageants for small girls should be banned Today's beauty pageants are detrimental to a child's development. These kinds of competitions can lead to low selfconfidence and poor body image. While most beauty pageants cater strictly to girls, there are a growing number that include boys as well. I firmly believe that taking part of beauty pageants is pressured by contestants' parents. It is their vision of how their children should look and act like. Some children do not want to partake in those competitions because it is tiring and chaotic, some children even do not understand what it is all about, because they are too young for that. In my opinion, a child who looks absolutely gorgeous without fake teeth, spraytan and an enormous wig is forced to wear all of it just to measure up to her parent wishes. I am not convinced that beauty pageants help to promote selfesteem in children. It can be ...

Marriage is an outdated institution

percent of first marriages, 67% of second and 74% of third marriages end in divorce in America. There are many reasons why this happen and people get divorced. Infidelity, poor communication, change in priorities and cte. Nobody can't say that it does no happen to us, because we love each other so much. but never say never, because if your marriage ends you should know the cost of divorce and it could be a lot more than you may think. A lot of fees: lawyer's fees, court bills, . and someone even can't afford a divorce. My advice is : Do not get married. There are so many advantages of not getting married. You don't have to deal with the financial stress of planning a wedding- the dress, the rings the vows and so on. You will never have to deal with divorce, ever. No last name drama. Bu t don't get me wrong. For many people getting married is a symbol of love and it is extremely important to them but i do not see the point of getting married and paying money to prove your love.

Dub FX - Kontserdi arvustus

Arvustus 16. My local supermarket

It has a huge variety of materials in the shop, starting from fruit and vegetables and ending with toys, clothes and even cooking meals. Sadly, the fact that it is old, makes it quite enjoyable for the alcoholics to be around the area. It has three checkout counters where you can buy your groceries. The best thing ever about the area and the people is that most of them are actually really talkative and every time I go there, I always meet someone new. The smell in the supermarket is quite neutral, it is nothing special because it surely does not have the aroma of an outside market in the summer. The inside of the building is quite beat down as well but all the groceries are there and easy to find. I would definitely recommend it because if you want to feel nostalgic about the 80's or 90's, then that is the place to go. I will be going to go there every weekend like I have done so far because it makes me nostalgic about my

See võimaldab lennufirmadele müüa lennule rohkem pileteid, kui sinna tegelikult inimesi mahuks. Madala nõudlusega lendudele pakutakse madalama hinnaga pileteid ning niiviisi optimeeritakse reise, et tulu oleks võimalikult suur. A complicating factor is that of origin-destination control ("O&D control"). Someone purchasing a ticket from Melbourne to Sydney (as an example) for $200 (AUD) is competing with someone else who wants to fly Melbourne to Los Angeles through Sydney on the same flight, and who is willing to pay $1400 (AUD). Should the airline prefer the $1400 passenger, or the $200 passenger plus a possible Sydney-Los Angeles passenger willing to pay $1300? Apologies

Apologies · We have probably all been in a situation when we know have behaved badly towards someone, but pride has made us slow to apologise. As the British pop singer Elton John put it on one of his songs, it is often the case that ,,sorry seems to be the hardest word." Of course when we do manage to make a sincere apology-it can quickly reduce the hurt or resestment felt by the person we have behaved badly towards. In the words of the Canadian cartoonist Lynn Johnston "An apology is the superglue of life-it can repair just about anything".

If I had the chance I would go there much often, but as I play also in my own school drama group it doesn't leave much free time for any other theatre activities. The best play I have seen there is " Stalker". It made me feel like I was a part of the play not just someone from audience. Also the impression of effects was very real. For and against capital punishment

In that case a capital punishment is and should be the right thing to do, to make the others feel safe again. Death of a culprit may decrease the pain, but will never make it go away? It is always extremely hard to live with knowing that you or your close one is been misused or suffered form a crime. In this occasion death of a convict seems to be the best way to revenge for the sorrowness and pain that has been inflicted . In the other hand, many people cannot live with knowing that someone just died for the things one did, just becuse of a slight malformation, which had nothing to do with his free will. Now he is dead. Does it make the feeling any better, or did it delete all the ill memories or anger? The only answer is : no, it did not. In conclusion a capital punishment is not the best way to punish a man. All the ones, who have been sentenced to death, have claimed just minutes before dying, that death is just the

INGLISE KEEL, BEING SUCCESSFUL

It is a well-known fact that most people will say they want to be successful in numerous, but success is many things to many people. Why is it difficult to define? What means real success to you? When we talk about success very often we think about money. Perhaps it happens because money pays a big role in our life. In other words, we can say if someone has money this person is successful. For some people the word success means being famous, for others it means being great at some specifc career. Yet for other people the word success means all together: having money, being good at one's professional life, personal life, romantic life, health life and so on. It is a very difficult task to start looking for a definition of success, because in fact it can have many different meanings. Puting it in another way; some people can

The advantages and disadvantages of social networking

Always being connected may seem like a good thing, but it also has some drawbacks. The reason why such a large number of people are using these sites, is because it is a comfortable and easy way to stay in touch with friends and family. Who would not want to get daily updates from their loved ones and see what is new in their life. Thanks to social networking sites, there are no boundaries as to where and when you can message or even videocall someone. However, all the information put on the Internet leaves a trace. It can not be deleted and it can be easily found by anyone who is interested. This can be harmful, as more and more employers are conducting background checks on their future employees. Some foolish jokes and posts about parties may cost people their dreamjobs. What is more, private details put online can lead to identity theft or fraud. Every piece of

"Rain man"

The movie concentrates on two brothers and their dysfunctional relationship. One brother, Raymond, is autistic and no one seems to understand what it really is that they are dealing with. The other brother, Charlie, is greedy and selfish, at least in the beginning of the movie. Somehow that changes as the film evolves. The main problem in this movie is greed. Charlie only cares about money. When he finds out that his estranged father had left his inheritance to someone else, he gets mad. That is the reason why he took Raymond from the institution where he was living. He wanted to take the money from his brother even when he realised that there was something wrong with him. At least he came to his senses in the end. The second problem revolves around Raymond and his disability. No one understood what he was going through. At that time, autism wasn't a widely known disorder. Nowadays, there is still no actual cure for it but it can be managed

People who does not have their own life

I think everyone in their life has things that annoy them. So have I and I have lots of stuff that annoy me, maybe too much. In this essay it would be impossible to describe all of them, so I will try to explain the most irritating thing. I really can't stand people who stuff their noses into other people's things. For example when two people are talking privately and then the one interrupts them and asks: "What?", "When?", "Who?","Why?". If its done once, nobody cares but when someone all the time and everywhere needs to know what others are talking about well it's kind of annoying. And then there are these kind of people who smoothly move from one group of people to another group of people and collect any kind of information like bees collect pollen so afterwards they could tell everything they heard to their friends and to add some spice to the whole story they supplement some tiny details which they made up in their heads. In Estonia we have this saying: "In

What Pleases Me about Life in Estonia

Europe both on the eastern and on the northern part. But there are, of course, some advantages in living in Estonia, too. The first one is definately my family and friends. It is good to live in a country when you know, that you have your loved ones by your side. They can help you in every situation or even when you have nothing to do and you need some entertainment. Also, when your problems seem to grow over your head and you feel that you need to share them with someone. The second good thing about living in Estonia is the nature. We have many beautiful places in our amazing country the best example are the forests. In many European countries, the biggest forest you can find is the size if Hiiumaa, but half of our country is forests with many species of wild-animals. Thirdly, we have our own language. Estonian is one the most unique languages in the whole wide world. Sadly, many youngsters do not want to speak it and instead, they speak English

Correlation between brand longevity and the diffusion of innovations theory

Usually just because that everything else around them has changed and thus, they need to conform in order to fit. (The people who still have the phones with buttons or even the old wheel-dial phones at home.) ‘Innovation spreads when others either observe the early adopters and imitate them to replicate their profits or communicate with early adopters and are persuaded or induced to adopt.’ Markus (1987 p. 494). Important parts of the innovation life cycle: Opinion leaders – someone who is able to influence other individuals; earned and maintained by technical competence or social accessibility. Change agents/agencies – individuals/companies that influence the publics innovation decisions in the direction they (or their customers) wish. Stages of adoption Sequential stages of how the adoption decision is reached. 1. Knowledge – aka awareness, usually communicated through mass media 2

Mõtteterad/aforismid

Ja me saame lennata vaid teineteise embuses.(Luciano de Grescenzo) Ainult lahkumisel ja jällenägemisel tuntakse, kas teineteist armastatakse. (Napoleon) You may laugh because I'm different but I laugh because you're all the same. Naerata alati väikestele lastele vastu, nendest mitte välja tegemine võib hävitada nende usu, et maailm on hea. Naeratus ei maksa midagi, kuid loeb palju. Ära lase väiksel arusaamatusel lõhkuda suurt sõprust. A friend is someone, who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you, when you have forgotten the words. (Helvetius) Pole inimest, pole probleemi. (Jossif Stalin)

"uniform". He prefers something comfortable (Quote 5). Lord Emsworth and the gardener Angus McAllister often argue on topics concerning the garden and everything related to it. A good example is the dispute about whether or not to make a gravel path through the Blandings famous yew alley. But since they both know so much about flowers and love them, then they often have friendly chats on that topic (Quotes 6,7). Regarding the nobility manners, he is also very keen on that his son would marry someone from his own class or from a higher class. This is probably because of pride. The best and only example is how he finds out about Freddie seeing Aggie and responding accordingly. He is even willing to fire his gardener to keep Freddie from marrying. This shows that he cares more about his family that about his hobbies. Lord Emsworth is the typical aristocrat in Wodehouses works in that he is humorous and sometimes acts as an intelligent clown. He is also very unique and has

Respect For Other People

accept it, I should accept and respect them. To respect other people means some how to make compromises. It means that, we need to find the best possible solution. According to cultural background it can mean different things: mostly it has a positive meaning- as consent, an agreement where both parties win something; in the USA it may rather have negative connotations as both parties lose something. Often young people are using word Respect. Saying this word, it means they acknowledge someone with value. Sometimes respect can be taken wrong, like opening a door for a lady she might think that I as a man do not respect her independency or helping elder people- they might think that we take them as ineffective and powerless. I think that respect for other people start with respecting yourself and your family. Be as good with other people as you would like them to be with you!

If I Were A Millionaire

If I Were A Millionaire... Everyone of us has their own dreams and it is hard to believe that out there is someone who has not dreamed about money. I am talking about a huge amount of money. If I were a millionaire, I could own all those things I have not had in my life before. First, if I were the lucky one, who would have a chance to be a millionaire, there would be millions of ways how to spend it. As to the point that my family has been the most precious fortune for me, I would give at least one third of that to my loved ones. I think that this would be a clever action.

The Picture of Dorian Gray

The Price of Everlasting Youth Everlasting youth is something that people value most when they are already older. But Dorian captured the ideal moment which he wanted to be eternal.
