Antud artikkel uuris vaimse tervise ja psühholoogiliste toetussüsteemide olemasolu ja kättesaadavust inimkaubanduse ohvritele Kambodžas. Laste, naiste ja meeste ärakasutamine prostitutsiooni või tööjõu eesmärkidel on Aasias aktuaalne probleem. Sellest hoolimata on vähe uuringuid eluga inimkaubandusest pääsenud ohvrite vaimse tervise ja psühholoogiliste tugisüsteemide kohta. Olemasolev statistika, mis
hedonistic emotion regulation (HER) and the distress- augmentative emotion regulation (DAR) were the predictors and AUCg (area under the curve in respect to ground) and AUCi (area under the curve in respect to increase) were the dependent variables. Participants, who scored high in HER showed lower cortisol responses, whereas, individuals who scored high in DAR showed a trend towards higher cortisol responses. These results indicate that HER is related to a lower cortisol response to psychosocial stress. In conclusion these results suggest that HER and DAR have an impact on the cortisol response.
