paganism and therefore closely related to the Old Norse religion, as well as other Germanic pre-Christian cultures. Christianity gradually replaced the indigenous religion of the Saxons in England around the 7th and 8th centuries. Christianity was introduced into Northumbria and Mercia by monks from Ireland, but the Synod of Whitby settled the choice for Roman Christianity. As the new clerics became the chroniclers, the old religion was partially lost before it was recorded. Despite these prohibitions, numerous elements of the pre-Christian culture of the Anglo-Saxon people survived the Christianisation process. Dress materials Anglo-Saxon clothing usually utilized only three types of fabric. Wool was a coarse material which was used for most garments. Lower class people, such as slaves and poorer peasants could only use wool for their garments, even garments worn against the skin. Linen, harvested from the flax plant, was a finer material which was used for garments. Silk was an extremely

In this respect, the Treaty articles guarantees that any obstacle to trade within the internal market can be scrutinized as to its compatibility with EU law. 1.4. Justification of the restrictions However, the free movement of goods is not an absolute value. In accordance with TFEU Art. 36 The provisions of Articles 34 and 35 shall not preclude prohibitions or restrictions on imports, exports or goods in transit justified on grounds of public morality, public policy, or public security; the protection of health and life of humans, animals, or plants; the protection of national treasures possessing artistic, historic, or archaeological value; or the protection of industrial and commercial property. Article 30 TFEU prohibits not only costumes duties, butt also charges having an equivalent effect (CEE). 6 According to Community trade law, any derogation which is not construed strictly, is hostile to achievement of the common market. This principle is seen concretely in the form of Article 36 TFEU (ex Article 30 EC) (Weatherill, 2007, p. 359). Article 36 TFEU provides: "The provisions of Articles 34 and 35 shall not preclude prohibitions or restrictions on imports, exports or goods in transit justified on grounds of public morality, public policy or public security; 1 2 3 , , , 4 , 5 , 9, 10- http://www.europarl.europa.eu/atyourservice/en/displayFtu.html?ftuId=FTU_3.1.2.html, by Mariusz Maciejewsk, 12/2016 6 R. When the energy of microwaves absorb it turns into heat energy. The experiments show, that it takes more to heat food even than just microwaves reflecting from the walls, like it was claimed in a physics lexicon. A turning plate is recommended, like shown on a Figure 2. The experiments show also, that the intensity of the microwaves is equal to zero point. The main purpose of the experiments is to check the validity of the prohibitions in the manuals of microwave ovens. The experiments assure the facts, that metal should not be placed in the microwave because the sparking and plasma effects. Also an egg should never be boiled in the microwave because it tends to blow due to its closeness. Fluids and air distend rapidly and causes the shield of the egg to shatter. Different experiments are useable in physics lessons for exampling the behavior of different materials like soap, gases in light bulbs, metal and so on

jõulud was celebrated in Estonia also before Christianity and for old Estonians it lasted for 17 days?Old Estonians celebrated winter solstice the birthday of the Sun. Starting from winter solstice, the days grew longer and the sun rose higher in the sky. Jõulud was celebrated from St. Thomas's Day (December 21) until Epiphany (January 6) long before Christianity reached the region. Jõulud, which involved excessive eating and prohibitions on several types of work, was seen as a period of rest in the middle of the long dark winter. Now Christmas is a mixture of the traditional, the modern, the secular, and the religious. Like in other Nordic states, Estonia's celebration of Christmas mostly falls on Christmas Eve, however, Christmas season starts from Advent with people buying Advent calendars or lighting Advent candles. the first public Christmas tree was placed on Town Hall Square in Estonia, Tallinn already in 1441

relations, to issues of daily living. The Qur'an defines hudud as the punishments for five specific crimes: unlawful intercourse, false accusation of unlawful intercourse, consumption of alcohol, theft, and highway robbery. The Qur'an and Sunnah also contain laws of inheritance, marriage, and restitution for injuries and murder, as well as rules for fasting, charity, and prayer. However, these prescriptions and prohibitions may be broad, so their 6|Page application in practice varies. Islamic scholars (known as ulema) have elaborated systems of law on the basis of these rules and their interpretations. Fiqh, or "jurisprudence", is defined as the knowledge of the practical rules of the religion. The method Islamic jurists use to derive rulings is known as usul alfiqh ("legal theory", or "principles of jurisprudence")

excess, but it is refined and extended. Roughly, redundancy means that more symbols are transmitted in a message than are actually needed to bear the information. To take Shannon's own elementary example, the u of qu is redundant because q is always followed by M in English words. Many of the the's of ordinary language are redundant: persons sending telegrams get along without them. Redundancy arises from the excess of rules with which languages burden themselves. These rules are mostly prohibitions—"Thou shalt not say 'dese' or 'dose' for 'these' or 'those'"; "Thou shalt not spell 'separate' as 'seprate' "; "Thou shalt not say 'is' after 'I.'" All such limitations exclude perfectly usable combinations of letters. If a language permitted any permutation of, say, four letters to be a word, such as "ngwv," then 456,976 words would exist. This is approximately the number of entries in an unabridged English dictionary. Such a language could, therefore,

In providing such direction, parents should recognize that teenagers, who see them· selves as young adults, will not respond well to control attempts that are typical of parent-child rela· tionships. Especially in the clearly adult arena of mating, adult tools of influence (preference and persuasion) will be more effective than traditional forms of parental control (prohibitions and pun· ishments). Although the experience of the Montague and Capulet families is an extreme example, heavy-handed restrictions on a young romantic alliance may well turn it clandestine, torrid, and sad.
