(But) what is the magic of this genre? Rhythm and Blues(R&B), or as it was called before "black music", started in the early 1940's by slaves in the south. This phenomenon brought about new music, fashion, and dance styles. The white people thought of R&B as black music during the 1940's and early 50's. It has the single greatest influence on music worldwide for most of the 20th century. Its influence can be traced in forms of rock music, country, gospel, jazz even Nigerian Juju -a style of dance music. So it included many different musicstyles and because of that it likes many different humangroups. Rhythm and Blues was started in the South, but later moved to Midwest, Northeast, and West Coast cities due to the shift in American demographics, after World War II. One of two significant developments, which occurred that had an effect on R&B was the invention of the Magnetic Tape, the other was the formation of broadcasting companies
As countries have different legal systems the persons hired to the legal department have to be familiar with the local laws for sales and trading and also with the local labour law. The best way to be ensured of that is to hire local staff to make sure the paperwork and legal side is correct and according to the law. To succeed entering the new market the marketing department would need to hire locals as they know the Nigerian market and are able to create suitable and succesful marketing plans and stategies to enter the market and increase the sales of the company. This is a department that may also hire an expatriate, who is acquainted with the new market and has marketing background and experience to work together with the local staff. As entering a new market is expecting to enlarge sales, the production department in Ghana should be augmented, to be able to supply both the old and the new market

Kuti on Nigeerias tuntud. Aastal 1969 viibis Fela koos bändiga pikemat aega USA-s. Sellesse

As a victim of my own irrational ignorance and stupidity, I have two children who have no knowledge of my culture or my language. I accepted the irrational thought that my culture was primitive, which I have come to regret. A people without a language or culture is doomed to utter extinction. Yes, money talks all over the world. I remember in 1996, after Mr. Tony Blair became the Prime Minister of Britain, one of his first acts was to ban Nigerian Airways from flying into London. The ban took effect in February 1996. Nigeria waited until May of that year to retaliate and ban British Airways from flying 24 into Lagos, Nigeria. Mind you, Nigeria is one of British Airways’ most lucrative routes. It is the same syndrome of following the oppressors who treats us the worst. By the end of the year, British Airways had started feeling the pinch of losing this most lucrative route

Once in a while it's fun to turn the tables and show that Tricksters themselves can be outwitted. Sometimes a Trickster like the Hare will try to take advantage of a weaker, slower animal like Mr. Tortoise. In folktales and fables such as " T h e Tortoise and the Hare," the slowest outwits the fastest by dogged persistence or by cooperating with others of its kind to outwit the faster animal. Tricksters like to stir up trouble for its own sake. Joseph Campbell relates a Nigerian story in which the Trickster god Edshu walks down a road in a hat that's red on one side and blue on the other. W h e n people comment, " W h o was that going by in a red hat?" they get into fights with people on the other side of the road who insist the hat was blue. T h e god takes credit for the trouble, saying, "Spreading strife is my greatest joy." Tricksters are often catalyst characters, who affect the lives of others but are unchanged themselves
