MATI UNT (1944-2005) Lühielulugu Mati Unt oli kirjanik, esseist ja lavastaja. Sündis Tartumaal ametniku pojana. Ta õppis 1951-1958 Leedimäe koolis, lõpetas 1962. aastal Tartu 8. Keskkooli ning 1967. aastal TRÜ eesti filoloogia eriala. Unt töötas aastatel 1966-1972 Vanemuise teatris ning 1975-1981 Noorsooteatri kirjandusala juhatajana; 19811991 Noorsooteatris lavastajana ning aastatel 19922003 oli Mati Unt Draamateatris lavastajana, pärast seda jäi vabakutseliseks. Aastal 1965 abiellus Unt Ela Tomsoniga.
