i can't say that some jobs are unnecessary or pointless, but i can say what jobs i don't like. I think i don't want to become a doctor or even a nurse, because i don't stand blood. In the future i want to become a teacher. I want to teach Estionian language or literature to high school students. To become a good teacher, i have to go to high school and graduate it with good results. Then i want to go to university. When i was a little younger i wanted to become a singer, a dancer, a hairdresser or a seller, like any other child. And now i know, the older i get, the certain will be my views to the future.
Review: Educating Rita Educating Rita is one William Russell's best-known work. In 1980 it came out as a play, but in 1983 the play was adapted for film. This comedy has two main characters: the hairdresser Susan, who calls herself Rita and is played by Julie Walters and divorced constantly drunk Dr. Frank Bryant, who is played by Michael Caine. Educating Rita deals with relationships and changes. It also speaks about how different people find different things important. The film begins with Rita's arrival to the university, where she wants to discover herself and get educated before having children. There she also meets first time with her tutor Frank
The Fear of Choosing The Wrong Major in University People have to make a lot of choices throughout their lifetime. One of the biggest choices a person has to make is to choose what they are going to study after high school. Many students decide to acquire vocational education and they have to choose which profession to pursue, whether it be, for example, learning to become a technician or a hairdresser. However, a bigger majority of teenagers decide to go to university. But before doing so, teenagers have to be certain what kind of study program they will be taking. This puts young people under a lot of stress, because they have a lot of doubt and fear. For example, over the years, there has been an increase of people, who have decided to study Information Technology in University, including myself. The increase has been due to the immense
It was filmed abot 30 years ago by A young wife decides to complete her education and take her exams. She meets a professor who teaches her to value her own insights while still being able to beat the exams. Bored with teaching undergraduates English literature, Frank Bryant morosely reflects through a whisky glass on his failed marriage and his attempt at becoming a poet. His world is turned upside down by the arrival of Rita, a hairdresser who has decided to find herself by taking an Open University course. And then Rita crashes into Dr. Frank Bryant's life wanting an education, although she has no idea what it is that she's asking. Her brash sincerity earns the respect of the doctor who has previously resigned himself to a life of empty lectures and booze. Rita's character is a breath of fresh air for Bryant and he begins to care about someone, or something for that matter, for the first time since his wife left him

Why I came to study English Why I came to study English? Seems like a simple question, but it certainly made me think about it. Some of my friends have even said that majoring in English seems so boring and they constantly bombard me with questions about my future. That made me think about how exactly did I end up studying English? First of all, as a kid, I was so sure I would be a hairdresser or a teacher or a cook in the future. I am sure that almost every kid thinks the same, when all they have for inspiration are cartoons and toys to play with. When I started school, I was very interested in mathematics and other subjects that required logical thinking, because apparently I was smart in that area at the time. Up until 6th grade I was the best student in our class, winning mathematic competitions left and right and not only that. By that time I had also found out that I loved to

They are also given every possible opportunity to go on with their education. There are a lot of interesting trades and all of them are important and useful. of months; it's pointless trying lots of different ones which only last a few days, as you've discovered. If I were you, I would go on the same diet I went on: I've sent you the information booklet. The most important thing to remember is to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and to exercise regularly. Why don't you join the basketball team? I know how much you love basketball. Also, once you start losing weight you should give yourself little rewards, like a visit to the hairdresser or a new dress. That way you'll probably find that you won't think about food so much. If you follow my advice, I'm sure you'll be back in shape in no time. Anyway, let me know how it goes. Lots o f love, V Kate TASK 23 Study the following situations and, using appropriate expressions, offer advice to each person. 1) Your friend wants some advice on what she should take with her on her first trip abroad.

wearing a tuxedo made me very nervous. Not quite as nervous as the dress. Or the shoe. Only one shoe, as my other foot was still securely encased in plaster. But the stiletto heel, held on only by satin ribbons, certainly wasn't going to help me as I tried to hobble around. "I'm not coming over anymore if Alice is going to treat me like Guinea Pig Barbie when I do," I griped. I'd spent the better part of the day in Alice's staggeringly vast bathroom, a helpless victim as she played hairdresser and cosmetician. Whenever I fidgeted or complained, she reminded me that she didn't have any memories of being human, and asked me not to ruin her vicarious fun. Then she'd dressed me in the most ridiculous dress -- deep blue, frilly and off the shoulders, with French tags I couldn't read --a dress more suitable for a runway than Forks. Nothing good could come of our formal attire, of that I was sure. Unless... but I was afraid to put my suspicions into words, even in my own head.
