Computers have significant advantages over people in a few select areas. They can store huge amounts of information that they will never forget, they can organize and retrieve that information very quickly, and they can do very complex calculations very quickly. The newest generation of computer applications for learning uses these computer advantages to help students do much more complex problems than they otherwise could. Researchers have noticed that computers improve our critical thinking skills, student collaboration, performing real-life tasks and performing complex tasks. And furthermore, computers are becoming more and more important for our studies, since they are used writing essays, researching and for learning more about our enviroment.
Computer what is it? Are computers our friends or enemies? Computers were invented in the last century especially to make people`s life easier. When there were no computers in the world, everything was much more complicated. Information spreaded slowly and if we wanted to write our friends, we must wait for a long time that the letter would reach the place. Nowadays computers are very common and almost everyone has it at home. Computer is very useful in many areas, for example in the companies, in schools. You can pay bills, read the most recent news, talk to friends, play games. Big computer use has also caused major problems. Almost every person has a computer at home and young children learn to use them. This ,,exciting thing" is robs a lot of free time for children. Some children spends too much time using computers and they even may lose reality.
Are IT and communication technology bringing about more positive or negative changes? Dear audience, i want to tell you about the positive and negative sides of it and communication technology. Informational technology is most commonly used to talk about computers and computer networks but it also includes other information sorces such as television and telephones. Electronic computers began to appear in the early 1940's. The origins of the internet are from the 1960's. Over a third of the human's population have used the services of the internet. But what about the other two thirds? Is is better for them to have not been able to use this huge network, or is it a bad thing? Even if he or she is at the other end of the world. Development of technologies gave new working places. Without computers where would be no such profession like computer science, web designer. Also, being an architect, engineer would be difficult without technology usage. Technologies can be found in education, too. All materials are now available in internet or can be found in university sites. Now there is no need to go to lectures – students can see it online or watch recording. It is more easier to combine studies and work. Technologies are used in banking – for transferring money or getting financial information; in
Using the Internet it is possible to communicate with each other and access to information faster. Another advantage is that almost the whole world has access to those technological inventions, so if someone lives in Australia, it is surprisingly easy for them to find a friend from Europe. On the negative side, there are lots of hackers who can damage big companies or leak personal information. In addition to this, people spend too much time in front of computer screens and that causes visual illness, sickness, stress, muscular pains, etc. Furthermore, there is a lot of trash on the Internet, for example, hardware viruses that we can get through our e-mails and inappropriate material like forbidden videos that parents would not like their children to see. In conclusion, the computer is a great invention that does a huge favour for us in our everyday life, but people must know how much it is okay to use them.
