the Seville Cathedral in 1520. The current building was originally constructed as a church between 532 and 537 A.D. on the orders of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian, and was in fact the third Church of the Holy Wisdom to occupy the site. It was designed by two architects. Church contained a large collection of holy relics and featured, among other things, a 50 foot (15 m) silver iconostasis. It was the patriarchal church of the Patriarch of Constantinople and the religious focal point of the Eastern Orthodox Church for nearly 1000 years. In 1453 Sultan Mehmed II ordered the building to be converted into a mosque. The bells, altar, iconostasis, and sacrificial vessels were removed, and many of the mosaics were eventually plastered over. None of them have met before. The ladies are wilful: they lounge around in the Jacuzzi, drinking champagne, eating permitted caviar and forbidden chocolate, and confessing the stories of their lives, startling and scandalous though these may be.

During the reign of the Russian czar the Estonians were forced to hold Song Festivals in order to thank the czar, and the Soviet regime always tied the Song Festival to the "red holidays". · In 1988, with the Song Festival as a role model, began the so called "singing revolution" when hundreds of thousands of people gathered in the Song Festival Grounds to make political demands and sing patriarchal songs. · Concerning the Song Festivals there are two beliefs in the Estonian conscience. The first one says that in 1869 a nameless country folk sang themselves to a European nation and the other, the latter, confirms that Estonians sang themselves their independence. The I, II, IV and V Song Festivals took place in Tartu, the rest in Tallinn. Battle of St. Matthew's Day · The Battle of St. Matthew's Day (Estonian:

It can be regarded as the ideal legislative model expressing the supremacy of the nobility. But everyday life during the serfdom period, which in Estonia has been researched even less than the agrarian legislation, was still largely shaped by the patriarchal relations between landlords and peasants, founded on customs and traditions. The rapid growth of the Estonian population 4|Page in the 18th century has even been seen as a sign of the relatively tolerable circumstances of the region's peasantry. -things cannot continue as they presently are. This is because the orientation of the process is toward the future, toward a concern with how improvement can be made. The end result of this proactive process is unity-everyone working together for the common good in a win-win manner where everyone benefits. This model not only provides a method for conflict resolution, but also reflects different philosophical approaches towards leadership, as well as a new style of management. The first is patriarchal, focused on the individual, independence and power; the other tends to be egalitarian, concerned with the group, interconnectedness and team-building. In essence both represent two methods for dealing with change, one static, the other dynamic. This model also exposes two different styles of leadership: the old style of Problem Solver-Crisis Management-a reactive posture which dominated management in

4. Care should be taken in all this process. An efficient and a successful administration manifests itself equally in small as in great matters. The Americans demonstrated a like sensitivity when they codenamed the crowning operations of the Pacific War, the invasion of Japan, CORONET and OLYMPIC. But it remained for Churchillian eloquence to find the great codename of the war for the greatest operation of the war. The name evoked a sense of majesty and patriarchal vengeance and irresistible power for the supreme Allied effort to enter the continent of Europe and crush forever the wicked Nazi conspiracy. The master wordsmith himself consecrated that crusade with the codename Operation OVERLORD. Before that vast offensive could be mounted, the Allies had to win the Battle of the Atlantic. In this, communications intelligence played a role of high importance. Indeed, in some respects the Battle of the Atlantic
