Rare animals

Rare animals Rare Chinese tiger seen in the wild Researchers have confirmed that a wild tiger, photographed by a farmer in the Qinba Mountains of Shaanxi Province, Central China, is indeed that of the critically endangered South China tiger. The South China tiger classified as one of only five subspecies of tiger still alive today is extremely rare, with only an estimated 20 to 30 still remaining in the wild. The wildlife and conservation group WWF says the South China tiger is actually native to the Hainan most forests of south-east China, and because there are so few individuals left, it is regarded by many scientists as being "functionally extinct" in the wild. But a group called Save China's Tigers has been working on a captive- breeding programme and hopes to reach an agreement with China's State Forestry Administration to reintroduce captive-bred animals into the wild. If all goes...

Biogas – The source of future energy

plant According to the Biogas Users' Survey conducted in 2000 with 100 households, biogas can have positive impacts on the health of its users. Out of 42 respondents who had respiratory problems in the past, it was reported that the problem has improved for 34 of them. Similarly, those who had problems like asthma, eye infections and lung problems found that their problems had decreased after displacing dirtier fuels with biogas. If parasitic diseases had previously been common, the improvement in hygiene also has economic benefits (reduced working time). The more fully the sludge is digested, the more pathogens are killed. High temperatures and long retention times are more hygienic. The availability of biogas can have effects on nutritional patterns too. With easy access to energy, the number of warm meals may increase. Whole grain and beans may be cooked longer, increasing their digestibility, especially for children.

At the present study 10 helminth species were found in the costal waters of Western Estonia; belonging to the following systematic groups: Nematoda Dichelyne (Cucullanellus) minutus, Cucullanus heterochrous, Contracaecum osculatum, Raphidascaris acus; Trematoda Diplostomum spathaceum, Cryptocotyle concava; Acanthocephala Corynosoma sp., Pomphorhynchus laevis, Acanthocephalus anguillae; Cestoda Schistocephalus pungitii. The parasitic helminths found are both not specific and very host-specific parasites of flounders and the fishes serve as a definitive, intermediate or paratenic host Trematodes Cryptocotyle concava was the most abundant parasite, although less numerous in spring. Its definitive host is a fish eating bird and flounder serves as intermediate host. Two species of Corynosoma (Acanthocephala) were found in the prevalence of 42 % both in autumn and in spring. Flounder and various fish act as paratenic host,

THE CAPITALIST NIGER

In offering my solutions, I am a realist, and I know my limitations; I don’t pretend to be an in-depth expert on the history, sociology and culture of the Black race. On this score, I intend to speak freely. I know I am being disingenuous to use the term “economic control.” The Black race doesn’t control anything. I have said so in many different ways in the preceding sections: the Black race is basically parasitic: we are nothing but a consumer race – we wait for others to do our work for us, and we come in to use their products after paying a heavy price for our indolence. As I said earlier, we have transgressed against the Black race beyond what our Creator had in store for us. We will have to atone for our transgression, because what we are facing is purgatory. The battle for the economic control (We never had control so I am not going to use the word “re-control”) of the Black
