EU COOPERATION WITH RUSSIA AND EASTERN

One biggest breakthrough has been gas pipeline Nord Stream. Russia is the third biggest trade partner of the EU and is the main importer of gas and crude oil. The economic benefits are the biggest cornerstones of the relations. Cooperation between Russia and the European Union progressively strengthens in foreign policy and security issues, in combating illegal migration, organised crime and terrorism. The main achievement of recent years, which can be hardly overestimated, is the understanding increasingly gaining ground that partnership between Russia and the EU is one of the cornerstones of maintaining stability and prosperity not only in Europe, but world-wide. Joint Russian-EU program called "A Partnership for Modernization" was launched. The main achievement has been the fact that the talks on Russia's membership in the WTO have finally ended in Russia's favor. Another important achievement is the recently reached agreement which

SUMMARY When i was beginning to write this research, i was convinced that i know quite a lot about e- books and see where the majority of humanity is moving in this area. I thought that today's students are so related to technology, that they would not respect the old traditions anymore. It appears, however, that i overestimated my knowledge. Currently, e-books aren't that popular yet, but it seems that everything in today's digital world is achieving success extremely fast. However, it's not expected that the paper books will be disappearing any time soon. Of course, the book, that has been with the man kind for centuries and amused them, will not be giving up to something, that has only been existing for a few decades. Valga's High School students are generally aware of the changes in today's world, including

Estuary English - A Controversial Issue?

Again, it has not been proven that Estuary English is spreading geographically, although single features of London speech may be. The process of EE creation is not new and the motivations for its emergence may only be speculated about although the most plausible ones seem to be dialect levelling and koineisation in the south-east region. These phenomena are a consequence of long-term accommodation of speakers from various backgrounds. The role of the media in its spread is overestimated, but one thing is certain about them. They have created animage of a monster that endangers the `pure' English language. References: Ryfa, J. (2003) Estuary English A controversial issue? MA thesis. Passion, the seven-armed candelabrum, etc.); therefore, the St. Nicholas' Church as a museum offers a unique opportunity to exhibit these works of art in their historical and liturgical context. The objects, commissioned for the church in the Middle Ages and in later centuries, have been returned to their natural environment. Thus, the church and its art treasures compose a historical and cultural unit which value can hardly be overestimated. Many objects exhibited in the church are of extraordinarily high artistic and material value, above all the retable for the main altar with the paintings by Hermen Rode, and Dance Macabre by Bernt Notke which is unique in the whole world. The position of such masterpieces in the context of European and world art history is, in fact, invaluable. The commission agreed that due to the uniqueness of these medieval works of art and to the
