My book review


`` The Brumby`` ● Novel, 190 pages
● Genre- Fiction
● The Brumby is a feral horse, which means it runs wild
● Nowadays they are shot to control their population and  they are considered  environmental pests

Storyline ● The herd of horses lived in Jims and Joeys land
● Joey discovered the herd
● Soon after that was a run to catch some horses
● During that one horse died and one got injured whos name was Moonlight
● Moonlight stayed with Jim and Joey
● Brumby and her mother split from the herd and soon after that Burmbys mother dies
● After that Brumby had many adventures, he got caught and he ended up in The  Buckjumping Show ● During one of those shows Burmby was violent and he managed to escape


● Later Jim wanted to mate Moonlight to get a foal
● Joey didn`t want that. He decided to find Brumby and to mate them
● But thing went wrong and after that Joey was seriously ill but he survived
● After what Joey did, the group of man decided to run Brumby
● They didn`t catched The Brumby
● Later the organizer of the run died 
● The horses with their feet beaten him to death
● after the run a lot of time went by and the herd where was also brumby came to  live into the same place they had quit because of the run ● Joey and Jim also let free the horse who got injured during the run


● The main events were The Brumbies adventures 
● The twist was when The Brumby escaped from the Buckjumping Show


Mary Elwyn Patchett ● Australian writer and journalist
● Born on the 2.nd December in Sydney, Australia
● Died 1989 in England
● She also wrote under the name of  David Bruce.
● Her books reflect her interests in history, space travel and animals
● The animal ones are the most known
● Her books are notable for their authentic Australian settings
● ´´The Brumby``, ´´ Summer on wild horse island``


My opinion ● I liked the book. It was interesting
● But I don´t like reading in english
