Agreeing & disagreeing

On the contrary. There'll be different levels of user-friendliness for different users. .... it's impossible to generalize about why people prefer married to single status. Rubbish! It must be possible to compare living together with someone to living on your own. What about the question of independence? 6.2 Using irony to express disagreement Besides, the production lines are often highly mechanized. Come off it! Agriculture in the Third World is still fairly labour intensive. Spend more time in Rwanda and you'll understand what I mean. Come on! The films we see on TV don't go that far. At least there's some censorship. Besides, it's such a cruel way to kill them. Do you really think so? Once the first dog had caught up with the fox, death is fairly instant. 6.3 Dismissing an argument as irrelevant or improbable.

They do not lay eggs, but their young are born before they are fully developed. A little kangaroo crawls into its mother's pouch and stays there for almost three months. Dogs, cats, and rabbits brought to Australia by men are rapidly destroying the gentler marsupials. There is only one marsupial still alive in the United States today it is the opossum. Many of the plants of Australia aren't found anywhere else. Agriculture. Australia's farms are highly mechanized and therefore require the minimum of human labour. Only about 5 per cent of the country's workers are farmers. Farmland covers about 65 per cent of Australia. However, most of this land is dry grazing land. Crops are grown on only 5 per cent of the farmland. About 10 per cent of the cropland is irrigated. Australia's leading farm products are cattle, calves, wheat and wool. Also fruit and sugar cane. Australia is a leading producer and exporter of beef, sugar and wheat

Aniliini riskianalüüs (eng)

Aniline can be absorbed through the skin or by inhalation. Thus, the danger increases. If the worker does not use all the means of protection, it is subjected to greater risk. A large number of workers in chemical. industry (aniline factories) is in danger of aniline poisoning: textile (dyeing and printing), pharmaceutical (manufacturing of neo-salvarsan) and rubber (using aniline as a solvent). At the comfortable aniline factories whole process of getting aniline from start to finish is mechanized, and workers do not have any contact with raw products, semi-finished and finished products, or inhale the fumes. Yet even here we have such cases (break pipes, damage equipment, etc.), under which can turn acute poisoning of workers. At the same time uncomfortable factories there are favorable conditions for both acute and chronic toxicity for workers. Aniline is very dangerous for marine animals, as accumulated in the bodies and leads to death.

American Art Revision Materials

Use of repetition and the elimination of dramatic climax were favored by the composer John Cage. Rauschenberg and Johns introduced "popular" materials into their art by depicting them or actually incorporating real objects. Pop Art debuted in 1962. The works spanned painting, sculpture and objects of daily use. "Happenings" (improvised semi-dramatic visual spectacles with audience participation) contributed to the Pop culture of the 1960s. The art form is based on the anonymous, mechanized and mass-produced images of advertisements, billboards, comic books and TV. Mass culture is the source of inspiration but it is neither critical nor sympathetic. Similarly to Regionalism, it stressed that which was generically American but concentrated on urban culture. By the late-1960s, Pop had lost its novelty but had turned artists from abstraction back towards recognizable imagery. Exemplary artists. Robert Rauschenberg (late-C20)

Average annual rainfall is 800 millimetres. (6) 4 1.3 Economy The Netherlands is a prosperous and open economy depending heavily on foreign trade. The economy is noted for stable industrial relations, moderate inflation, a sizable current account surplus, and an important role as a European transportation hub. Industrial activity is predominantly in food processing, chemicals, petroleum refining, and electrical machinery. A highly mechanized agricultural sector employs no more than 4% of the labor force but provides large surpluses for the food-processing industry and for exports. The Netherlands, along with 11 of its EU partners, began circulating the euro currency on 1 January 2002. The country continues to be one of the leading European nations for attracting foreign direct investment. Economic growth slowed considerably in 2001-02, as part of the global economic slowdown,

The Medium Is the Message

The message of the movie medium is that of transition from lineal connections to configurations. It is the transition that produced the now quite correct observation: "If it works, it's obsolete." When electric speed further takes over from mechanical movie sequences, then the lines of force in structures and in media become loud and clear. We return to the inclusive form of the icon. To a highly literate and mechanized culture the movie appeared as a world of triumphant illusions and dreams that money could buy. It was at this moment of the movie that cubism occurred, and it has been described by E. H. Gombrich (Art and Illusion) as "the most radical attempt to stamp out ambiguity and to enforce one reading of the picture-that of a man-made construction, a colored canvas." For cubism substitutes all facets of an object simultaneously for the "point of view" or facet of perspective illusion

especially through the use of slave labour until the Civil War. In the northeast, slaves were used in agriculture until the early 19th century. In the Midwest, slavery was prohibited by the Freedom Ordinance of 1787. Nowadays less than 2% of the population is engaged in agriculture. Large stretches of level or gently rolling land, especially in the Midwest provide ideal conditions for large-scale agriculture. The farms have narrow specialization, are very well mechanized and have high productivity. Besides providing its own people with food, the US has sent much food to other countries. Dairy cattle are bred mainly in the eastern part, beef cattle in the prairies. Poultry farms are near big cities. Vegetables and potatoes are grown all over the country. Fruits are grown mainly in Florida and California, citruses in California. Wheat is grown in the prairies. 7. Population The United States is an urbanized nation, with 80

Rochefort and Dyer alternated 12 hours on, 12 hours off. Speed was emphasized. As the meaning of a codegroup became known in the Combat Intelligence Unit, whether through its own efforts or by a helpful message from another unit, the codegroup and its meaning were punched on an I.B.M. card and stored in the machine. When an intercept came in, a clerk would punch its codegroups on I.B.M. cards and feed them in. The machine automatically made the run of repeated subtractions and the check of its mechanized difference "books" necessary to find the identical remainders, and then, with human guidance, the runs to reconstruct the relative additive sequence, correct it to the absolute sequence, and strip it from the encicode message. This machine would then compare the placode groups with the decode cards in its storage and print out the plaintext for whatever decode cards it had. Presumably it would also print out the various possibilities in the case of garbled or partial codegroups
