Story about Invention the Soft reflector Maria Kesvatera I'm going to write about soft reflector (cat's eye). The woman who invented it was Estonian girl Karoli Hindriks. She invented soft reflector when she was 16 year old and studied in school. She got the idea to make soft reflector when she noticed little hairy toy hanging in her school bag. She thought that it would be great when these toy could sparkle. She also thougt that regular plastic reflectors were very boring. In 1999 created Karoli Hindriks student company to produce soft reflectors. I think that it is very good to have soft and beautiful reflectors because then people like to wear reflectors more and car drivers can see them better.

Tarantula are a group of hairy and often very large spiders belonging to the family Theraphosidae, of which approximately 900 species have been identified. Some genera of the tarantulas hunt prey primarily in trees and other genera hunt on or near the ground. All tarantulas can produce silk; while arboreal species will typically reside in a silken "tube tent", terrestrial species will line their burrows with silk to stabilize the burrow wall and facilitate climbing up and down. Tarantulas mainly eat insects and other arthropods, using ambush as their primary method of prey capture. The biggest tarantulas can kill animals as large as lizards, mice, and birds. Tarantulas are found in tropical and desert regions around the world. Most tarantulas are harmless to humans, and some species are popular in the exotic pet trade. Some species, while not known to have ever produced human fatalities, have venom that can produce extreme discomfort ov...

The front segment is called the Cephalothorax. The second part of the body is called the Abdomen. SpidersGettingBigger-GlobaW l armingtoBlame? A group of Danish scientists wondered whether global warming would make the hairy, meat-eating wolf spiders of northeastern Greenland bigger, since longer summers mean more hunting time. The spiders can live for at least two years, and the researchers found that, in years when spring came early, the animals grew larger, on average. For example, when spring came 30 days earlier than usual, some spiders grew exoskeletons that were 10 percent thicker than average, resulting in bigger bodies overall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA0u2J1bKAc Snakes
It was a perfectly ordinary Friday evening. Dark, muddy and full moon shining in the sky.Parents decided to go to our summer cottage on this weekend. It is a little old house in the woods, but not far from our house there are ohter summer cottages. Father helped us carry things into the house, after that sister and I decided to take a walk in the woods. Mom asked us to be careful, because people were talking about a creature that was hairy, fast and with bloody eyes and sharp teeth. We thought it is unbelivable and funny, just for people could have something to talk about. After all it seemed impossible. We took different way than usually. We walked until we came to an old, ugly, deserted house. Curiosity was so great that we forgot mom's advice. Approaching the house we saw window frames covered with cobwebs . We decided to open the door even tough we were frightened... Creeeek! We trembled and took a step back .
· Caulobacteri raku jagunemisel moodustuvad erisugused rakud: üks liikuv, viburiga rakk ja teine liikumatu kinnitusjätkega rakk. Selts Rhizobiales · Seltsi kuulub 10 sugukonda, millel on väga erinevad fenotüübid. · Rhizobium on juuremügarate sümbiont, kelle abil liblikõielised taimed seovad õhulämmastikku. Perekond Agrobacterium Liigid: 1. tumefaciens 2. radiobacter (pole tumorigeenne) 3. rhizogenes (põhjustab hairy root-haigust). · Perekonna tüüpliigiks on A. tumefaciens. · Agrobacterium põhjustab kaheidulehelistel taimedel mitmesuguseid kasvajaid. Sellel bakteril on tohutu peremeestaimede ring. · Nakatuvad näiteks marjapõõsad ja viljapuud. Kasvajad tekivad juurtel, okstel ja tüvel. · Kasvajad takistavad vee- ja toitainete liikumist taimes. Taimed kääbustuvad ja on väheviljakad. · Algul on kasvaja pehme, soolatüükataoline, hiljem aga puitub.

In sunflowers, the ray flowers are usually female and infertile. The disk flowers are both male and female and are fertile. If you look closely at the center of a sunflower you can see that the disk flowers grow in a mesmerizing pattern of two opposite spirals. This is most easily seen either before the disk flowers open up or after the seed has set and all the accessory flower parts have fallen off. This is one of the more interesting patterns in nature. The rough-hairy quality of the Common Sunflower is characteristic of many members of its family. These little bristles probably serve two functions: to discourage plant- eating animals and to conserve water in the plant by limiting evaporation. Members of the sunflower family are popular with butterflies because the wide flower head makes a good "landing platform" and the numerous individual flowers make for a high probability of finding nectar. Monarch butterflies are commonly

rates 20% when applied in a culture (think petri dish). Even if you're not interested in growth, it also increases glucose metabolism. Phytoecdysteroids are structurally similar to insect molting hormones-- nally, an a ordable way to eat insect molting hormones!--and both increase protein synthesis and muscular performance. Even little rats build stronger paw grips. In good news for women, the 20HE ecdysteroid tested demonstrates no androgenic properties. In other words, it won't give you a hairy chest or an Adam's apple. The Rutgers University researchers responsible for the principal study emphasize, almost as a deterrent, that one would need to eat 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) of spinach per day to mimic the administration used. In testing, I've found that it's not hard at all to see a visible e ect with smaller amounts. I routinely eat two to three cups of spinach per day, which is less than you think, and each cup is 81 grams. Two cups, at 162 grams, is about 16% of 1 kilogram
