Ulatuslik uurimus "Diseases and Parasites of Flounder (Platichthys flesus) in the Baltic Sea" avaldati 1994. a Baltic Marine Biologist Publication´i poolt. Proseminaritöö I käsitles hallhülge (Halichoerus grypus) helmintofaunat Läänemere idaosas. Ajalist piirangut arvestades, puudus materjal ja vôimalus seda teemat hetkel edasi arendada. Sellest tingituna on uurimise alla vôetud lest, kes on hallhülge üks toiduobjektidest. Materjali kogumise piirkonnaks oli Hiiumaa pôhjaosa rannikumeri.
