Gaasiläbilaskvus (газопроницаемость, permeability) On vormi- või kärnisegu omadus lasta läbi gaase. Järeleandvus (податливость, collapsibility) On valuvormi või kärnimaterjali (segu) võime deformeeruda või puruneda metalli kahanemisel tekkinud jõudude toimel. Kui suureneb vormisegu poorsus, suureneb ka järeleandvus.
These effects significantly reduce the societal value of buildings, bridges, cultural objects (such as statues, monuments, and tombstones), and cars. Famous buildings like the Statue of Liberty in New York, the Taj Mahal in India and St. Paul's Cathedral in London have all been damaged by this sort of air pollution. Acid rain can also damage stained glass windows in churches, railway lines and steel bridges. The acid rain slowly eats away them all. Building materials crumble away, metals are corroded, the colour of paint is spoiled, leather is weakened and crusts form on the surface of glass. Economic effects Acid rain causes more acidic water, which might kill the fishes. This would effect the fisherman, who would not get enough money, therefore less money would be spend and economy would be affected. Acid rain= damaged buildings=claims on insurance = less money for insurance company and there for effecting the economy. Political effects
across as a dull braggart and a naïve youth, respectively. The majority of the characters remain ambivalent about the war, resentful of the terrible destruction it causes, doubtful of the glory it supposedly brings. The novel offers masterful descriptions of the conflict's senseless brutality and violent chaos: the scene of the Italian army's retreat remains one of the most profound evocations of war in American literature. As the neat columns of men begin to crumble, so too do the soldiers' nerves, minds, and capacity for rational thought and moral judgment. Henry's shooting of the engineer for refusing to help free the car from the mud shocks the reader for two reasons: first, the violent outburst seems at odds with Henry's coolly detached character; second, the incident occurs in a setting that robs it of its moral import --the complicity of Henry's fellow soldiers legitimizes the killing. The murder of the engineer seems
The Romans also built a bridge over the Thames and there has been one in the same area ever since. The Roman Londinium grew up on the northern side of the bridge. In AD 61 the native Celtic tribe, led by Queen Boudicca, rose up against the Romans. They burnt down Londinium to the ground and killed most of its inhabitants. Roman armies eventually defeated Boudicca and Londinium was rebuilt. At the end of the fourth century AD the Roman Empire began to crumble and the Roman armies were recalled from Britain to defend Rome itself. Once they had left, tribes such as Angles, Saxons and Jutes invaded and settled in from Holland, Germany and Denmark. Together they are known as Anglo-Saxons. They were farming people who preferred living outside towns. For a while London probably lay in ruins, but it eventually developed again, partly because its position on the river was good for trading. In 1666 most of the City of London was destroyed in

defeated Boudicca. The city was rebuilt and was gradually surrounded with a wall of stone and brick which lasted for many centuries. During the archeological excavations in 1954 the Roman Temple of Mithras was revealed. It was a pagan temple dedicated to the Persian Sun-god. The Temple was later reconstructed only a short way from its original site and the relics are displayed in the Museum of London in the Barbican. Beneath the yoke their necks in sway, Bajo el yugo su cuello dobleguen, May your countryside be watered with blood, Tus campiñas con sangre se rieguen, On blood their feet trample. Sobre sangre se estampe su pie. And may your temples, palaces and towers Y tus templos, palacios y torres crumble in horrid crash, Se derrumben con hórrido estruendo, and their ruins exist saying: Y sus ruinas existan diciendo: The fatherland was made of one thousand heroes here. De mil héroes la patria aquí fue. Fatherland, fatherland, your children swear ¡Patria! ¡patria! Tus hijos te juran to exhale their breath in your cause,
