I think this is one of the best rap albums of all time. NaS’s lyrics are incredible and beats are fantastic. I cannot decide what my favourite song on the album is because every track is unique in its own way. Thru NaS’s career his rhymes have all ways been very complicated. He is like a human dictionary and he is a great storyteller. The only song I did not like was the first track on the album called "The Genesis" but it was not really a song it was more like an intro so I am not disappointed.

During their studio years, The Beatles produced what critics consider some of their finest material, including the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), widely regarded as a masterpiece. Four decades after their breakup, The Beatles' music continues to be popular. The Beatles have had more number one albums on the UK charts, and held down the top spot longer, than any other musical act. According to RIAA certifications, they have sold more albums in the US than any other artist. In 2008, Billboard magazine released a list of the

Akon

When he was only 15, he recorded his first song, Operations of Nature. Shortly afterward, Akon was arrested for armed robbery and drug distribution charges. Being in prison did not prevent Akon from working on his music career, however, if anything it gave him more time to perfect it. When Akon was released he continued to write and record songs at his home, and was eventually discovered by SRC/Universal, who liked his distinct vocals and Southern beats. His debut album Trouble was released in June 2004. Akon was off to a great start after the singles Locked up, Lonely, and Ghetto became huge hits in the U.S., UK, Australia, and Germany. Although Trouble was a popular album, it was Akon's collaboration with other artists that really brought him into the limelight. In 2005 Akon was featured in Young Jeezy's song, Soul Survivor which appeared on the top five list of the Billboard Hot 100.

Hip-hop

It also began its spread across the world. In the 1990s, a form called gangsta rap became a major part of American music, causing significant controversy over lyrics which were perceived by some as promoting violence, promiscuity, drug use and misogyny. Nevertheless, hip hop continued to increase in popularity, and by the year 2000, it was a staple of popular music charts. In the 1990s, gangsta rap became mainstream, beginning in 1992, with the release of Dr. Dre's The Chronic. This album established a style called G Funk, which soon came to dominate West Coast hiphop. Other artists such as Tupac Shakur (a.k.a. 2Pac), who would start his rapping career in 1991, would dominate in the 90s (before being shot and killed in a drive-by in 1996) becoming the highest selling rapper ever with over 75,000,000 albums sold world wide and played a major role in the East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry having beefs with East Coast rappers The Notorious B.I.G. Career ● 2008–10: No Introduction and mixtapes ● No Introduction, released on Decaydance Records on June 10, 2008, was Tyga's first independent album. One of the songs from this album, "Diamond Life", was used in the video games Need for Speed: Undercover and Madden NFL 2009, as well as in the 2009 movie Fighting. Tyga released many mixtapes. In 1967, what would become the first Elton John/Bernie Taupin song, "Scarecrow", was recorded; when the two first met, six months later, Dwight was going by the name "Elton John", in homage to Bluesology saxophonist Elton Dean and Long John Baldry. Empty Sky , Elton John's 1969 debut album, went largely unnoticed. The team of John and Taupin joined Dick James's DJM Records as staff songwriters in 1968, and over the next two years wrote material for various artists, like Roger Cook and Lulu.
