The Haunted School

There were extremely quiet in that morning. It was Friday, but still... He stopped in front of the school and were still wondering that there were nobody moving around. He opened the door and stepped in. Finally, he heard some noise, but he couldn't understand the meaning. That was coming behind the corner, where Bill had just stepped. He saw a policeman lying and there were blood everywhere. He touched the man and didn't know what to do. Bill decided to run away. Cause he was incautious he fell and hit his head. After waking up and thinking a little bit he saw a sign, which said: ,,Refused to work and disturbe in field-day!" That said everything. His headache wasn't so tender too. He was so pleased that he fell asleep again. AsmeriMarko

Nimetu

Ülemiste Elder would flood Tallinn. How did the medieval Tallinn get its name Reval One day the Danish King Valdemar II was hunting for deer near Toompea, when he spotted a beautiful stag. He liked the animal so much, that he ordered it to be caught alive. Unfortunately the deer fell from a limestone bank, broke its neck and died. The fall of a dear is called Reh-fall in German, so that's where the name Reval probably derives from. How the Toompea hill came into being Kalev, the father of the hero Kalevipoeg, was killed by his greatest enemy. His widow, Linda, mourned for seven days and eventually dug his grave and

However, I still just can't be mad at my teacher she's such a wonderful person! And her lovely way of laughing... Maybe I'm a teacher's pet I don't deny it, at least completely. We do have fun with her, but I guess I am a bit more excited than the others about her reaction when I say something funny or stupid. Once she fell ill now really, my mood fell as well, for the next two weeks. I guess I'm attached to her and caring in a way, but I really hope that one day we can be really good friends. I just hope that the day will come after all, my English is good and she seems to like my jokes, too.

Ingl.keele lugemine "The Black Beauty"

It is a story told by a horse, in his own words. It's about how he was treated and taught when he was a young and healthy horse and how he fell into illness and was treated badly. The Black Beauty didn't remember everything when he was small, but he remembered some very important advice from his mother. She told him that the better he behaved, the better was he treated and he always had to do best of him to his master. One day a man took him with him to the Birtwick Park. There lived other horses and the Beauty became friends with the others. The Black Beauty was a good horse and everyone loved him.

architecture changing according to the development of weapons. The fortress achieved its final dimensions area of more than 3 hectares, thickness of the wall between 1.2 and 1.8 meters, and maximum height over 10 metres under the reign of Bishop Johannes IV(fourth). In the 17th century, the castle was no longer used as a defensive building by the Swedes who now ruled the Swedish Estonian Province. In the course of the Great Northern War in 1710 (seventeen ten), Estonia fell under Russian rule and the walls were partially demolished at the command of the Peter I of Russia, turning the castle in effect into ruins. It was at this time that the fortress that once displayed seven towered circular wall 803 (eight hundred free) meters long and 12 (twelve) meters high became a pile of ruins. In Estonia and its neighbouring countries only very few examples of medieval weapons have survived. The collection of those exhibited at the Town Museum is really unique.

handsome, actually even heavenly beautiful young man, a friend of Basil, a cynical aristocrat Lord Henry Wotton (Harry) finds great intrest in Dorian. Lord Henry Wotton wants to buy the picture, and moreover, he wants to meet the boy in the picture himself. Unfortunately, Dorian is an innocent and a pure child, this is why Hallward doesn't find the idea of these two men meeting, because he is afraid that Dorian won't find his relationship with Basil intesting and exciting anymore. Basil fell in love with Dorian while painting his picture. Basil also treated him good, kept his self- esteem and spirit up by saying all the great things about him, of how good he looks and how much he as an artist likes him, etc. Everything that Dorian did later in his life selling his soul to the Devil in order to remain picturesquely and breath-takingly beautiful (Dorian wanted the picture to get older in time, not he himself.) was in my opinion actually a favour from Basil Hallward,

Mr. Burke told that he did not saw this accident well, but he thinks that it was truck driver fault. Next I found witnesses in front of cafe. There were a bank manager, who was waiting for his coffee, Philip Scott, a waiter Francois Rimbaud and Mavis Biggles, who is a waitress in that cafe. They told me that first some crates on the top fell down and then truck driver hit brakes and made an accident. Philip Scott added that chickens might be diseased and that people could catch the infection, but Mavis Biggles did not agree with that idea, because truck driver was on the way to market to sell all his birds. I left these two there to argue and found another witness Lee Post, a letter carrier, was really in shock and he told me only impolite words about truck driver, so as I understood, he thought also that it was truck drivers fault

a bit less exciting. The actual history is that the rock formations were created by a lava flow some 65 million years ago by molten basalt rising through a chalk bed, and then cooling and cracking to form the tall columns that make up the causeway. Legend: Legend has it that the Finn McCool built the causeway to walk to Scotland to fight his Scottish counterpart Benandonner. One version of the legend tells that Fionn fell asleep before he got to Scotland. To protect Fionn, his wife Oonagh laid a blanket over him so he could pretend that he was actually their baby son. In a variation, Fionn fled after seeing Benandonner's great bulk, and asked his wife to disguise him as the baby.

The man got closer to her. "Your highness..." he whispered, but no answer was given. She didn't even turn her eyesight to him. Then the man smiled and said as gently as he could, "Eliza..." The princess blushed even deeper now and turned slowly her head. Eyes still low she said," Are you his father, Edward de la Valjerio?" The man wanted to laugh and cry at the same moment, but then he suddenly hugged her and a gentle kiss was exchanged. A tear fell down on the princess's white knee - length dress. She wanted to protest this is how she was raised, but...something in this man's eyes moved her heart. And as a matter of fact she was moved so deeply that her raised hand fell lower every second until she was totally in his arms. "Your highness...my dear Eliza...I really must to go now!" he whispered sadly. "No!" she cried, but Edward turned fast away and in a few moments was gone.

ICE AGE The earth is very old. During its long history there have been many changes in climate. Between one and two million years ago one of these changes took place the great Ice Age began. It grew colder in the Far North. More snow fell in the winter than could melt away in the summer. The snow grew deeper and deeper. It changed to solid ice. As more snow fell, the ice grew thicker. It began to move. Great sheets of moving ice, or glaciers, were formed. The edges of the sheets were pushed outward. At last the ice covered most of what is now Canada. And it spread southward into what is now the United States. The ice was probably a mile deep in places. It moved over hills and valleys, rivers and forests. It moved slowly perhaps only a foot a day. Millions of plants were buried by the ice. Many animals moved south

Environment in Estonia

Firstly, the main issue is pollution, that is caused by our own carelessness and thoughlessness. In Estonia there are too many old cars and other vehicles, which exhaust fumes that pollute air what we breathe. Although, there are some newer vehicles like busses and cars that contaminate less and even few electric cars, people do not pay enough attention to it. When the levels of pollution are too high, it may cause some serious diseases. The second aspect is that people fell quite a lot of trees, but that is not so big problem. In Estonia there are a lot of forests and groves. Also, people are planting new trees all the time and know abot the importance of green. Lastly, one of the issues is that people consume too much and therefore produce a lot of garbage. Most of the people recycle things like plastic, bottles and paper, but some do not know or care what kind of damage growing landfills can make.

"The horse whisperer" raamatu kokkuvõte

Pilgrim. But that is not so easy. The horse still doesn't let Grace near himself. But in the end the horse accepts and she can ride her loved horse again. I actually did not notice a hidden message in the book or maybe I just did not understand it. Maybe the author wanted to say that nothing would go as people expect and that anything can happen. In particular book Grace almost died and also the horse, a married women fell in love with the mysterious horse whisperer and in the end: one of the main characters dies. And Annie who has always thought that her job is the most important thing in the world does not care about it on one moment and quits. The book was also about relationships between mother and daughter, people and horses and of course between man and woman. The book is a great example that love can come on the most unexpected moment.

This led him to discover Piedmont, Lombardy, and the delights of Milan. The culture and landscape of Italy were the revelation that was to play a psychologically and thematically determining role in his life and works. In 1802 the 19-year-old Henri Beyle was back in Paris and at work on a number of literary projects, none of which he completed. He dreamed of becoming a modern Molière, enrolled in drama classes, worked at ridding himself of his provincial accent, and fell in love with a second-rate actress (Mélanie Louason), whom he followed to Marseille. By then he was keeping a diary (posthumously published as his Journal) and writing other texts dealing with his intimate thoughts. The year 1806 proved to be a turning point. Count Pierre Daru, having been appointed intendant- general of Napoleon's army, had his young protégé sent as an adjunct military commissary to the German city of Brunswick

Illmatic album review

Illmatic album review Ervin Sagor Nasir ''NaS'' Jones recorded his first album called Illmatic in 1994. The album was slept on and had lack of sales. Upon its release, the album debuted at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 59,000 copies in its first week. However, its initial sales fell below expectations and its five singles called "Halftime", "It Ain't Hard to Tell", "The World Is Yours", "Life's a B***h" and "One Love" failed to achieve significant chart success. There are ten songs on the album. Producers of the album are such legends as DJ Premier, Large Professor, L.E.S., MC Serch, Pete Rock and Q-Tip. I think this is one of the best rap albums of all time. NaS's lyrics are incredible and beats are fantastic

Madonna

It is no coincidence that Steven Spielberg is looking for a woman of his adaption of Arthur Golden's best-selling novel, Memories of a Geisha. And if her new Geisha look is a part of Madonna's campaign to secure the part, who can blame her? Madonna has always been a brilliant consolidator of trends, picking up on an existing look and making it her own. When she first bounced into the charts, it was a trashy punk. The furs and glitzy jewellery she wore for the video Material girl made Sean Penn fell in love with her. When the marriage with Penn formally ended she was already involved with Warren Beatty. For a short time she dressed like a gangster's moll and played in a joint movie venture, Dick Tracy. When the romance with Beatty ended she changed her outfits for tight corsets and menacing conical bra tops. In her forties she changed her hair back to its natural dark brown, cut in a bob. Today she is 55 years old but for me she looks like in her thirties.
