Nasir ''NaS'' Jones recorded his first album called Illmatic in 1994. The album was
slept on and had lack of sales. Upon its release, the album debuted at number 12 on the U.S.
Billboard 200 chart, selling 59,000 copies in its first week. However, its initial sales fell
below expectations and its five singles called "Halftime", "It Ain't Hard to Tell", "The World
Is Yours", "Life's a B***h" and "One Love" failed to achieve significant chart success. There
are ten songs on the album. Producers of the album are such legends as DJ Premier, Large
