Theatre: Theatre as compared to film and literature Im going to compare theatre to film and literature. There are some seally big differences between thatre and film or literature. Firstly the main difference between literature and theatre is that if you read a book, you have to imagine the whole image in your head and thus everybody sees one thing differently, but in theatre you have a real live picture in front of you. Pros and Cons of the Capital Punishment. The death penalty is a controversial issue in most countries, but it is completely abolished in our country. Arguments for and against it are based on moral, practical, religious and emotional groups. On the one hand, there are advocates of the death penalty, who argue that it deters crime, improves community by making them sure, that convicted criminals would never find their way out onto the streets to offend again and it is cheaper than keeping convicted criminals in high security prison for the rest of their natural lives.
