The Vow The Vow is a 2012 romantic drama film directed by Michael Sucsy, starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. The film is based on the true story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter. Filming took place from August until November 2010 in Toronto and Chicago. The Vow wasn't nominated for an Oscar.The soundtrack of the movie was composed by Rachel Portman and Michael Brooks.
