Keskmine uuritavate inimeste vanus oli suhteliselt madal. Järeldus: ühelt poolt noorte õdede elustrateegiad ei ole lõpuks kujunenud, ja teiselt poolt minimaliseeritud ülemineku aja ehk menopausi sümptomite mõju unele. them with Bella knowing Jacob will tell her. Jacob honks the horn impatiently, irritating Edward. Bella walks to Jacob's car and when she turns to wave at Edward, she thinks he looks truly upset. She surmises that he must be angry over the honking incident, but in reality it's Jacob's thoughts that have upset him. When Bella gets in Jacob's car she notices how tired he is and suggests they go back to his house to hang out. Jacob explains his sleepiness: he has been doing double shifts on his nightly patrols because of the threat to her. Bella chides him, but he dismisses her concerns. The discussion turns to Bella's graduation and Jacob is obviously thinking about the significance of that date for her impending change. Bella doesn't tell him that her plans have been put on hold for fear that he will read too much into her reluctance. They talk about the upcoming graduation festivities instead, and Bella issues Jake an invitation to the party

kinds of stimulants. (See below.) High - A high is the feeling that drug users want to get when they take drugs. There are many types of highs, including a very happy or spacey feeling or a feeling that a person has special powers, such as the ability to fly or to see into the future. Inhalant - An inhalant, such as glue or gasoline, is sniffed or "huffed" to give the user an immediate rush. Inhalants produce a quick feeling of being drunk - followed by sleepiness, staggering, dizziness, and confusion. Narcotic - A narcotic dulls the body's senses (leaving a person less aware and alert and feeling carefree) and relieves pain. Narcotics can cause a person to sleep, fall into a stupor, have convulsions, and even slip into a coma. Certain narcotics - such as codeine - are legal if given by doctors to treat pain. Heroin is an illegal narcotic because it is has dangerous side effects and is very addictive.

towards the morning. As the days get darker, we become tired more early. The use of artificial light can increase the awake time dramatically. Melatonin release correlates to our circadian cycle the biological clock based on the 24-hour day/night cycle. It is suggested that taking melatonin in the early evening may improve one's ability to fall asleep. However, there is evidence that higher levels of melatonin contribute to SAD a subcategory of depression that is characterized by sleepiness and lethargy. Discuss two effects of the environment on physiological processes. Brain plasticity refers to the brain's ability to rearrange the connections between its neurons (the changes that occur in the structure of the brain as a result of learning or experience). Plasticity can change the functional qualities of various brain structures depending on the regularity and type of the task. Rosenzweig and Bennett carried out a series of studies on brain plasticity. The

The fire was dulling, focusing into an ever-smaller point. I felt my consciousness slipping as the pain subsided. I was afraid to fall into the black waters again, afraid I would lose him in the darkness. "Edward," I tried to say, but I couldn't hear my voice. They could hear me. "He's right here, Bella." "Stay, Edward, stay with me..." "I will." His voice was strained, but somehow triumphant. I sighed contentedly. The fire was gone, the other pains dulled by a sleepiness seeping through my body. "Is it all out?" Carlisle asked from somewhere far away. "Her blood tastes clean," Edward said quietly. "I can taste the morphine." "Bella?" Carlisle called to me. I tried to answer. "Mmmmm?" "Is the fire gone?" "Yes," I sighed. "Thank you, Edward." "I love you," he answered. "I know," I breathed, so tired. I heard my favorite sound in the world: Edward's quiet laugh, weak with relief. "Bella?" Carlisle asked again. I frowned; I wanted to sleep. "What?"
