"Hea, et mina seal ei ole" arusaam teeb nad populaarseks. Ameerika antropoloog Eric Michaels viis läbi projekti Warlpiri aborigeenide juures 1983- 1986. Tema ema isa abiellusid 8. aprillil 1686. Nende kaheksast lapsest jäi ellu viis, noorim neist oli Johann Sebastian Bach, tema kolm venda ja tema õde. Isa Johann töötas muusikuna hertsogi kohtus. Bachi ema suri aastal 1694 ja juba mõned kuud hiljem abiellus Johann Ambrosius uuesti, kuid kahjuks 3 kuud peale tema teise abielu algust suri ta tõsisesse haigusesse. Seal õppis ta lugemist, kirjutamist, aritmeetikat, laulmist, ajalugu, loodusõpetust, ning religiooni. Ta oli oma klassis edukuselt neljas, kui ta lõpetas oma kooli.
