Prince William and Catherine Middleton became engaged in October 2010, in Kenya. Welsh composer Paul Mealor, who composed a song for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess, composed a lullaby entitled "Sleep On", with lyrics by Irish composer Brendan Graham. A recording was made of it as a gift for the baby. Commemorative coins were issued and it was the first time a royal birth had been marked that way. Birth The Duchess was admitted to the hospital, on the morning of 22 July 2013. She gave birth to a boy weighing 3.80 kg later the same day. The Duke was by his wife's side when she gave birth.

Järgnevalt avaldasid nad lugupidamist vokaalansamblitele lauludega ,,Java Jive", ,,Lullaby", ,,Caravan", ,,Well, well, well", ,,That cat is high" ja ,,Dry bones". Minu jaoks kõige huvitavam neist oli viimane, milles ansambel laulis ette kõik inimese luustiku osad, alustades jalaluudest, lõpetades peaga ning ka tagurpidi tagasi. Kuid vähe sellest, laulsid nad veel selle ette teist korda palju kiiremini ning veelgi kord ladina keeles. Hedvigi eestikeelse muusika juurde. Juhuse tõttu sattus see album plaadifirma Universal dzässi- ja klassikaosakonna juhi Wulf Mülleri kätte Londonis. Müller oli sellest vaimustuses ning tegi artistile ka kohe ettepaneku plaat samamoodi, nagu see on, Universal/Emarcy kaubamärgi all välja lasta. Hedvig aga otsustas teha uue plaadi. Selleks kulus aasta. Kohtumine oma lemmiku, dzässkitarrist Pat Methenyga inspireeris Hedvigit kirjutama plaadi lõpuloo "Pat's Lullaby", mille üks osa on Lõuna-Eesti rahvalaul. Tegu oli Eesti esimese dzässmuusikuga, kes sai rahvusvahelise lepingu nõnda suure plaadifirmaga. Hedvigi neljas CD "What Colour is Love" (2003) sisaldab valdavalt tema enda loomingut ja on kriitikute sõnul tõeline meistriklassi näitaja. Kuue kontserdiga tuur mööda Eestit kogus täissaale ja positiivseid vastukajasid. Lisaks tutvustati plaati ka kontsertidega Saksamaal, Austrias, Sveitsis ja Hispaanias
