With practice you can slow it all down and get used to inhaling and exhaling more and more deeply. Once you develop this technique by practicing it every day, it will be a very useful tool that you will always have with you. Use it whenever anything upsetting happens - before you react. Use it whenever you are aware of internal tension. Use it to help you fall asleep. Exercise 3: Breath Counting If you want to get a feel for this challenging work, try your hand at breath counting, a deceptively (petlik) simple technique much used in Zen practice. Sit in a comfortable position with the spine straight and head inclined (painutatud) slightly forward. Gently close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Then let the breath come naturally without trying to influence it. Ideally it will be quiet and slow, but depth and rhythm may vary. · To begin the exercise, count "one" to yourself as you exhale. · The next time you exhale, count "two," and so on up to "five."

Edith D. de Leeuw, Joop J. Hox, Don A. Dillman INTERNATIONAL HANDBOOK OF SURVEY METHODOLOGY ÜLESANNE Õppeaines: SISSEJUHATUS ERIALASSE Tehnoloogia ja ringmajanduse instituut Õpperühm: Juhendaja: Tallinn 2021 TABLE OF CONTENTS 2 1 THE CORNERSTONES OF SURVEY RESEARCH 1.1 Introduction The idea of conducting a survey is deceptively simple. It involves identifying a specific group or category of people and collecting information from some of them in order to gain insight into what the entire group does or thinks; however, undertaking a survey inevitably raises questions that may be difficult to answer. How many people need to be surveyed in order to be able to describe fairly accurately the entire group? How should the people be selected? What questions should be asked and how should they be posed to respondents

õigustatud: õigust on analüüsitud ka teistes koolkondades. Seos on ilmselt pigem mõlema anglo- ameerika juurtes. Kontseptuaalne õigusdogmaatika [Aarnio 1997]: [Conceptual legal dogmatics has had a bad reputation in the eyes of the posterity. There are many reasons for this. One of them has to do with the form of the conceptual legal dogmatic reasoning. It reminds in this respect deceptively the theory of natural law. As we remember, according to the outlining given to natural law by Christian Wolff, natural law is a pyramid on the top of which there are the most general principles and the foundation of which consists of individual answers derived from them according to the laws of logic. The starting points are mastered by intuition, and the derivation by logic. In the same way it is conceived in pure conceptual legal dogmatics. Also in it the form of the system is hierarchical

I waited for him to approach home plate, but then I realized, as he took his stance, that he was already there -- farther from the pitcher's mound than I would have thought possible. Jasper stood several feet behind him, catching for the other team. Of course, none of them had gloves. "All right," Esme called in a clear voice, which I knew even Edward would hear, as far out as he was. "Batter up." Alice stood straight, deceptively motionless. Her style seemed to be stealth rather than an intimidating windup. She held the ball in both hands at her waist, and then, like the strike of a cobra, her right hand flicked out and the ball smacked into Jasper's hand. "Was that a strike?" I whispered to Esme. "If they don't hit it, it's a strike," she told me. Jasper hurled the ball back to Alice's waiting hand. She permitted herself a brief grin. And then her hand spun out again.
