1948 is book that has many ideas twisted together. Lovestory, fears, how Winston whose daily work is rewriting history tries to rebel by falling in love to Julia, altough she isn´t his taste. This book was very interesting because there are many connections to real life for example Big Brother evokes to the cult of personality buillt up around Joseph Stalin, also Winston´s job „revising history“ is based on the Stalinist habit of airbrushing images of „fallen“ people from group photographs and removing references to them in books and newspapers. Firstly, it is a tiring job because they work shifts and often work at night. For example, they must always prepared to deal with any number of situations tat may arise. In addition, they often see people suffering. To conclude, I belive that, altough being a doctor can be difficult at times, it is worth it. It is rewarding job to help people who are sick or injured.
I already completed the Feedback Form but I would like to add some more points. Firstly, when we arrived, we were told that the bungalow we had booked was not available ad we were offered instead accommodation in rooms, which we did not want. The room service was extremely slow. On first day, I had to wait a cup of coffe for one hour. Also, there was promsed a TV in the room, but it was out of order. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the recreational facilities either. Altough there were two tennis court, we did not get a change to play because they were booked up most of the time. In the end, our evening entertainment conisted of sitting in the bar all night as the only choice was an extremely noisy disco. Besides, the drinks in the bar are way too expensive. And want kill Kate too. But that attempt failed because Kate killed him. I think that was typical horror. Altough it was quite intresting movie, there was predictable end of story. This is the best horror that I have ever seen. Most I like that there was connection with Estonia.

The most important person in the making of a movie was not the director, but the producer. He could dictate what was to be left out and what the actors were allowed to say. Altough, at the beginning years of Hollywood, the movies were actually silent and blackand white in color. That meant that the actors had to have extreamly good facial expressions and gesticulating. Victor was going to marry Elizabeth but on their wedding night the creature killed her in excuse that if he can`t have a partner, then his creator can`t. Victor swore vengeance and he started to follow the creature in order to kill him. The creature escaped to the North Pole and that’s how Victor got to the vessel. Victor got very ill and eventually he died. I quite liked the novel, altough it was hard to read. It’s a tragic and a sad book about a creature who had no purpose in life. The book was suggested to me by my brother, who had the oppurtunity to listen it in audio version. I would recommend it to everybody who enjoys science fiction and tragic books.

(Chapter 2, p. 25) I think this book is worth recommending to everybody. Every person can find something amusive and learn from Dorian's mistakes. Conclusion Overall, I think this book was quite an enjoyable reading. Altough, at first it was a little bit dull and too Dorian-centered, the plot developed nicely and became more interesting.

If I look at my friends and people I communicate, then many of them have the attitude “I don’t care” or the same “If it feels good, do it”.
