Saving energy means decreasing the amount of energy used while achieving a similar
outcome of end use. Using less energy has lots of benefits you can save money and
help the environment.
Generating energy requires precious natural resources, for instance coal, oil or gas.
Therefore, using less energy helps us to preserve these resources and make them last
longer in the future.
Change your travel behaviour, think more in terms of public transportation,
if possible, walk or ride your bicycle instead of taking the car
Reduce your house heat by 1C, keep the windows closed while heating, dress
warmly
Choose products that come with lightweight packaging
Turn off lights and appliances when you are not using them, use energy
saving light bulbs
Reuse plastic bags for shopping and storage
Use a microwave instead of a stove to reheat food

Simple and small ways affect the enviroment for the better Everyone can do something for the enviroment. All of us should do something, because enviroment is very important to people. Our planet is changing and we need to help it change for the better. One way how to help the enviroment is saving energy. You should switch off anything, that uses electricity. If you’re not using it, then turn it off, it’s simple. This goes for lights, televisions and so on. Also try unplugging if possible, because even when an appliance is turned off, it still may use power. You could switch your light bulbs to LED light bulbs, because these are using less energy and even last longer. If you use renewable energy sources, you won’t cause burning fossil fuels, that causes pollution.
The RRR rule Reduce- reduce your waste. That means, use alternatives to things that you would just throw away. For example: instead of paper cups and plates use ordinary plates. Reuse- Use thing that you have already got or give them to people who need those things. For example: glothes, use newspaper as a wrapping paper. Recycle- recycle thing. It does not take too long and it makes so much differencs Saving energy and your money Save electricity - people use a lot of electricity only because they forget or leave electrical appliances on. How: unplug everything that you do not use and do not forget to turn the light off Save water - Wasting water wastes electricity wich wastes energy. At first I was not very satisfied with my topic but then I realized that this could be actually really interesting thing to make a report of. I chose this particular topic because I have always been interested in green energy. This topic gave me an excellent opportunity to improve my knowledge about these kinds of things. For me this report is a great challenge because I have not done anything like this before, especially in English. Primary goal for me is to improve my knowledge about renewable energy and also usage of English language. This report is going to talk about biogas. It provides a brief review of usage and future prospects of the biogas. I have tried to make this report as understandable as possible
