The Scorpion King is a 2002 American action film directed by Chuck Russell. The events of The Scorpion King take place 5,000 years before those in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. Mathayus, the last true Akkadian mercenary, along with his half-brother is hired by King Pheron to kill a sorcerer, whose prophetic powers allow the vicious Egyptian Emperor Memnon to rule his empire with an iron fist. He sneaks into Memnon's camp and finds his way to the sorcerer's tent, where he discovers that Memnon's sorcerer is actually a beautiful sorceress called Cassandra. Mathayus and Cassandra, now King and Queen of Egypt, bid their farewells to Balthazar, who wishes them well. Cassandra then reveals to Mathayus that her night with him did not strip her of her powers. She subtly warns Mathayus of a vision she has had of his horrific destiny, but Mathayus decides that they will make their own destiny.

Along the way Chloe learned that Simon is a sorcerer and Derek is a half-demon, werewolf. Chloe planned her escape with the two boys and while doing that, she and Simon started to like each other. Ei tasu arvata, et kõik sõna ,,nõid" vasted tulenevad inglisekeelsetest sõnadest. Ehedaks näiteks on sorcerer(nõid,ingl. k ), mis pärineb hoopis prantsusekeelsest sõnast sorcier. He graduated from the Tallinn Conservatoire as a student of his father, Artur Kapp, in composition. The tone poem Tasuja (The Avenger, 1931) was his graduation work, and concerns the historical events of the Fourteenth century. A suite for orchestra and smaller works followed. In the fantastic overture Kalevipoeg (1938)1, based on the national epic, the young composer has portrayed both the mythical hero and his opponent the evil Sorcerer. In the introduction appears the sneaking image of the latter becoming the main theme: Example 34. Solo instruments emphasise the mysterious and dark Sorcerer. The theme of Linda, mother of the hero, follows: it is wistful, crisp and affectionate. It is regrettable that the composer has ignored this beautiful image in the development. The theme of Kalevipoeg appears as a subsidiary subject of exposition, characterised by a romantic aura and softness:
