Rudyard Kipling started his writing career as a journalist. His talent could be explained with his experience in working as a journalist which was mentioned when he was given the Nobel Prize in 1907.

Joseph Rudyard Kipling was born on 30 December 1865 in Bombay, British India. His father Lockwood Kipling was a sculptor and the head of department of the architectural sculpture at the Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art and Industry in Bombay.
