Mary is packed off to join Puritans headed to the New World. While they search for religious freedom, Mary searches for a fresh start and a chance to live a life untainted by the suspicion of witchcraft. She is informally adopted by good friends who accept her strong-willed nature and and knowledge of herbs, medicines, and midwifery. To escape the oppressive atmosphere of the village and the stringent Puritan expectations, Mary retreats to the woods where she befriends a local Native American boy. Despite dire warnings from all who care about her, Mary persists in keeping her journal, gallivanting through the woods, and making dangerous comments. Even though Mary has assisted her community on numerous occasions, when things begin to go poorly for the village, accusatory fingers are quickly pointed. The fear and superstition are palpable in this diary-style novel. Readers sense impending doom at every

With satellites they can forecast more accurately what might happen in the immediate future. Their research has produced evidence of why past climatic changes took place. There have been many climate fluctuations over the 10,000 years since Britain was last covered with an ice sheet. Advances and retreats of ice in the northern hemisphere during the past 500,000 years can be accounted for by changes in the warmth from the Sun. This was caused by alterations in the Earth's orbit at periods of 96,000, 40,000 and 20,000 years. Although that theory is widely accepted as a possible explanation for ice ages, it has not been proved. More than 50 theories have been put forward, but only a few have not been completely dismissed.

Ships at the sea cause oil problems, where oil flows in the water and causes a lot of damage, like killing the sea animals and also birds, who are on the seacoast, where the oil reaches. When these problems continue, soon we won't be able to swim in a clean body of water and the drinking water becomes unusable. In some places there are floods after the snow melts or in autumn, when raining cause sea level rising. When water retreats, it brings along trash and rubbish from the streets in the sea or rivers. Many peole have built ramparts, to avoid the consequence of floods and also picked up rubbish from coasts, where seawaves have washed the trash. Upon arriving in Geneva, he sees the monster near the site of the murder, and becomes certain it is the killer. William's nanny, Justine, is hanged for the murder based on the discovery of the locket in her pocket. Victor, though certain the monster is responsible, doubts anyone would believe him, and does not intervene. Ravaged by his grief and self-reproach, Victor retreats into the mountains to find peace. The monster approaches him, ignoring his threats and pleading with Victor to hear its tale. Intelligent and articulate, it tells Victor of its encounters with people, and how it had become afraid of them and spent a year living near a cottage, observing the DeLacey family living there and growing fond of them. Through observing the De Lacey family, the monster became educated and self-aware. It also discovered a lost satchel of books and learned to read

When Othello finally arrives, everyone retreats inside, leaving Iago once again alone with Roderigo. Warning Roderigo that Desdemona has fallen for Cassio, Iago convinces him to fight Cassio in order to have Cassio removed from Othello’s forces. With yet another soliloquy, Iago restates his hatred of Othello and his plans to drive him mad. man who has been rigid, disciplined, and meek his entire life enters into a polarized relationship with two playful ghosts, the Kirbys, who are loose, free, and rebellious. At first Cosmo Topper is driven to even greater rigidity to counteract the w i l d energy of the Kirbys. But this extreme position is unnatural and inherently unstable. Under continued challenge from the Kirbys, Topper experiments tentatively with the free, loose behavior of his polar opposites, then retreats to comfortable rigidity, repeating the process several times until reaching a tipping point where he can no longer resist, and gives himself over completely to their madcap strategy for living, totally reversing his polarity. In the end, he reverts to something like his old, meek behavior, but now has access to his freer side and is happier for it. Sometimes, however, the reversal of polarity happens early in the story and
