Retelling the Aboriginal people 1. The formation of the continent Australia, a continent of geographic and biological diversity (mitmekesisus), has an amazing range of animal and plant life, as well as one of the world's oldest ethnic groups. After the last Ice age, when sea rose considerably (märkimisväärselt kasvanud), Australia and its largest island Tasmania, became isolated form the rest of Asia. 2. The earliest inhabitants The earliest humans living in Australia are called Aborigines and they are descended (pärinevad) from among the earliest humans in the world. For thousands of years Aborigines lived as hunter-gatherers along the coast and in the inland desert areas, following the same lifestyle as their ancestors. 3. Finding food and water Aboriginal tribes obtained water from trees and roots and even squeezed water out of the bodies of frogs. Women collected anything that grew or moved,...
In the foreground there are woman, her daughter and baby. They are sitting along the path. I think that baby is eating . Mother and daughter are wearing a green long skirts and hats, they have shawls on their shoulders. The Woman has a pink blouse, but it`s hard to tell what colour is the girl`s blouse, but it`s could be violet. It`s possible that they have picked the flowers, because the girl has a bouquet of flowers in her hands, and now they are resting in the grass. The flowers may be daisies. In the background you can see light blue sky with the single clouds in the sky and the sea. In the bottom left-hand and right-hand you can see the grass where are growing yellow, pink and white flowers. In the top left-hand is hill. I like the picture, beacause the athmosphere of picture is a calm and nice, and it is a summer picture.
In the foreground there are three pigs. they laying probably on the bedding straw. The pigs are beige. In the bottom left-hand corner you can see a trough. It`s hard to tell what is in the trough, but I think that there is could be grain for pigs. In the background you can see a gray tower. At the top of the tower is flying red-blue-yellow flag. In the top left-hand corner is one people who is carrying straw to the pigs.
There is a forest near our house and a little lamp with green shimmer leads into the forest. When I looked straight to it, I saw a man in a black coat, who was standing in a green light. At the same time my friend shouted something to me and I turned my head. When I looked back the man had dissapeared. I was terrified and ran home. I was still trembling when I got in to my bed. In the morning I was retelling the story to my parents and when I finished, they gave me a big hug to me. When I asked, what was going on they said that they're really happy that I'm okay, because the man I met on last night was a criminal, who had escaped out of prison. Since that day,I'm afraid to do home from my friend's house.
He told Harry that he can't be happy without seeing Dorian and later on confessed that he also worshipped Dorian. Beside this, the purpose of art is largely discussed about. The action takes place in the late 19th century in England, London. A lot of action took place at Dorian's and Basil's home. The story is mostly told from Dorian's point of view by a third person, but there was a part where it seemed like Wilde himself was retelling the story. The tone of the book is shocking and immoral and it made the overall mood of the story a little bit revolting and dark. The main charachter in this book is of course Dorian Gray. He is an ideal of beauty and this makes him arrogant. He thinks that if he is beautiful, everything is allowed to him. He kills one of his friends Basil, a conventially minded and talented painter and does not even feel guilty after that.

not seem to distort people's memory. Instead, they have shown that the memory details in real life situations are quite amazing. Those who were most distressed by the situation had the most accurate memories. Frederic Bartlett has also conducted an experiment using serial reproduction, where people had to remember a story and then retell it. The next person who heard it had to retell it to someone else and so on until up to 7 people. When people were retelling he noticed how each participant's memory of the story changed. Some characteristics were that the story became shorter; it remained coherent and became more conventional. According to Bartlett, people reconstruct the past by trying to fit it into existing schemas. This can be explained as people's efforts after meaning. Bartlett realized that memory is an imaginative reconstruction of experience, which is exactly what modern research supports.
A long-standing resentment is called a grievance. To carry a grievance is to be in a permanent state of “against,” and that is why grievances constitute a significant part of many people's ego. Collective grievances can survive for centuries in the psyche of a nation or tribe and fuel a never- ending cycle of violence. A grievance is a strong negative emotion connected to an event in the sometimes distant past that is being kept alive by compulsive thinking, by retelling the story in the head or out loud of “what someone did to me” or “ what someone did to us.” A grievance will also contaminate other areas of your life. For example, while you think about and feel your grievance, its negative emotional energy can distort your perception of an event that is happening in the present or influence the way in which you speak or behave to ward someone in the present. One strong grievance is enough to
Rescue from W i t h i n Crossing the Threshold Return Resurrection Master of the Two Worlds Return with the Elixir Freedom to Live 6 A PRACTICAL GUIDE I'm retelling the hero myth in my own way, and you should feel free to do the same. Every storyteller bends the mythic pattern to his or her own purpose or the needs of a particular culture. That's why the hero has a thousand faces. A note about the term "hero": As used here, the word, like "doctor" or "poet," may refer to a woman or a man. THE HERO'S J O U R N E Y At heart, despite its infinite variety, the hero's story is always a journey
