and also the clothes of teenagers. “Researchers say that many teenagers are emulating celebrity idols like Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and Chris Martin (the singer of Coldplay), some scarcely out of their teens themselves, to cultivate an impression of maturity” Young people and fashion occupy an important place in modern society. Both of these concepts are quite complex and interesting to explore, and they both are components of the culture as a whole. Fashion today permeates all spheres of life. Youth is the group to which it is directed mainly. This is understandable - the young people - the most active, creative part of the population. Fashion is dynamic - it is constantly changing. This also reflects the needs and interests of young people. 3 Fashion can be anything: clothes, shoes, hairstyles, magazines, style, objects, music, movies, etc. Even the behavior or lifestyle some people choose is influenced by fashion trends.

"Keep a smile on your face and let your personality be your autograph." "What's the use of worrying? It never was worth while, so pack up your troubles in your old kit- bag, and smile, smile, smile." SMILE, God loves you! Would you like to improve your face value? SMILE! It works every time! "No matter how small, a SMILE on your face tells all." "Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been." "Smile at someone and find something worth laughing about. As the laughter permeates your life, the spirit of celebration will take root in your heart." "A SMILE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND!" "A smile of encouragement at the right moment may act like sunlight on a closed-up flower; it may be the turning point for a struggling life." "What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. They are trifles, to be sure; but, scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable." "Forgery is pointless: no one wants a fake smile." "Smiles don't take up shelf space."

It doesn't really reflect the true culture of American people. We all know The Simpsons, Mickey Mouse, Elvis Presley, Superman, Indiana Jones, Madonna and South Park because America has exported them to other countries. Nowadays ofcourse spreads American culture the Internet and TV. Pop culture is Heavily influenced by mass media (at least from the early 20th century on) and perpetuated by that culture's vernacular language, this collection of ideas permeates the everyday lives of the society. America's pop culture is widely spread into Europe, but not very much into the East countries, because India has Bollywood and it is as huge as Hollywood. Of course America has stolen some ideas from other countries, like Japan, where there are very many TV shows and comedy shows. Pop culture is meant for the masses. Pop music is a wide variety of styles which are with good rhythm and meaningful lyrics so it must be for big masses. The

now, the culprits are the Africans scholars themselves, who have been too lazy to research our past and correct the convoluted history being taught in African schools. UNLESS YOU KNOW THE ACCURATE HISTORY OF YOUR PAST, YOU CANNOT KNOW THE PRESENT AND NEITHER CAN YOU PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE. This laziness continues to contribute in a major way to the annihilation of the history and culture of Africa. It permeates the whole educational system of the African. It avoids what is most relevant in place of what is expedient. It is this miseducation of the African that continues to make him dependent on the Caucasian for everything he does. We have a high cadre of Africans who have degrees, but whether they are highly educated is another matter. If we were to look at some of the categories in the lives of Africans, we can immediately see the hollowness of their miseducation

a humorous smirk. Thereafter he lets in rough and menacing force (trombone). Example 103. At the beginning of the third movement a heavy stamping of timpani starts and it generates a feeling of fatality. Example 104. An atmosphere of mourning: strings begin with tapping followed by a desperate crackle. Trumpets and trombones are protesting. All of it is but grey haziness, pressure and pain. A clear, melodious thought unexpectedly permeates through the chaos. In the following Poco meno, a piano piece for children, The Sweet Dream by Tchaikovsky is heard. The childish serene thought stands as an ideal and counterbalance to the previous bellicose gloom. The former wins. The lack of fixed themes, brutality, harshness and anxiety as rendered by several images realise Pärt’s conception. There is an abundance of so-called background music

The future reach of the obligation is nicely connoted in a Japanese word for thank you, "sumimasen," which means "this will not end" in its literal form. The impressive aspect of reciprocation with its accompanying sense of obli- gation is its pervasiveness in human culture. It is so widespread that, after inten- sive study, Alvin Gouldner (1960), along with other sociologists, report that all human societies subscribe to the rule. 1 Within each society it seems pervasive also; it permeates exchanges of every kind. Indeed, it may well be that a developed sys- tem of indebtedness flowing from the rule of reciprocation is a unique property of human culture. The noted archaeologist Richard Leakey ascribes the essence of what makes us human to the reciprocity system. He claims that we are human be- cause our ancestors learned to share food and skills "in an honored network of obligation" (Leakey 8{ Lewin, 1978). Cultural anthropologists view this "web of in-

At N.S.A. security begins outside. Three fences ring the headquarters building. The inner and outer are Cyclone fences topped with V's of barbed wire. The middle one is a five-strand electrified wire. These are pierced by four gatehouses manned by Marine guards. When the gates are closed, a complicated electronic apparatus involving mirrors and lights buzzes warningly. Gatehouse 3, on the north side of the building, is open 24 hours a day. Security permeates N.S.A.'s interior as well. Both the agency's organization and the physical arrangements that reflect this organization are highly compartmented, with numerous checkpoints, and employees are not permitted to enter areas in which they do not work without special permission. Colored badges limit them to their own areas. Pistol- packing guards block the entrance to specially restricted areas. The most secret documents must be locked in three-tumbler safes except when
