Rhyme is regular sound repetition occurring at the end of poetic lines (rhyming words have similar or identical sound combinations). Full rhyme ­ identical sounds (last stressed vowel and following consonant) ­ tide-side, cold-gold. Incomplete rhyme ­ derived from full rhyme.
